Always fast and wonderful service, fresh food, and the BEST around! The food is always excellent. They have the best fried rice, egg foo yung, chow mein, and lo mein around. The owners are original, and they are always welcoming and personable. They always make a special order for our 6 yr old of broccoli since he was very young. They go out of their way to ensure you get what you ordered. I've been eating here for 40 years, and will continue to as they can't be beat! The attached pics are half my order of the #3 cashew nut chow mein combo..

Sadly to say, this is really bad Chinese food at a bad price. I have given this restaurant a fair chance and went there multiple times, but the only good thing on the menu is the cream cheese puffs. The entrees are flavorless, soggy, and barely have any meat in them. The restaurant is not open for dine-in and they have junk laying all over the place. It was like they're using the restaurant as a storage facility. I would recommend to the owners that they go taste good food at The Red Pepper or P.F. Chang's, or Ping's and compare the taste and presentation to their own restaurant to understand the difference in quality. Just a few months ago, their prices were from the 90's so you really couldn't complain. But they have raised almost all of their prices recently, so it's not worth it anymore. It is shocking they have a 4.1/ 5 rating. My best guess for the high rating is that either (A) the restaurant used to be good or that (B) the people who frequent there don't venture much out of Cottage Grove.

Grew up on Tom Moy. Always liked it but I think it changed ownership like 15 years ago and has continually gone down hill. Mainly noticing the flavors getting blander. Probably removing some ingredients for cheaper options. Most noticeable in the fried rice and some of the darker gravied items. It's too bad, they really were the best back in the day. Typical of all businesses lately, cheapen the product for profit.

I have been a customer for years, food usually good. When they mess your order up though they try to blame the customer. It is very frustrating. Today was really the last straw. I try to be nice, young boy taking orders on phone, checking people out, giving them their food.. He seemed a little overwhelmed. I know what I ordered. He knew what I ordered. But what I got was wrong. Connie looks at the slip that he wrote the order on and said that's what I ordered, but I did not. I ordered szechuan chicken and they gave me a different kind of chicken. I think he missed spelled it, but she argued with me. I also ordered a side of Cantonese noodles. Well they had put 2 Cantonese noodles in the bag they said, so after she made the correct food, they said they would give it to me , but I had to go out and get the xtra Cantonese noodles that was in bag. Just ridiculous. The kid wrote my phone number wrong, wrote my order wrong, and rang up my credit card wrong so he had run it twice also. It's pretty bad that they can not just believe a customer. By the time I got home my food was cold. No apology and they try to make you feel like it's your fault they messed up. This is how they always deal with their mistakes! Just super bad customer service!! Make sure you always double check your order, not that it matters they will blame you anyway! They should of come out to my car to get that tiny side of Cantonese noodles back themselves! REALLY CONNIE!

This is my first time ordering from this place, and probably my last. We called in an order, asking questions about some of the dishes and what was in it. The lady did not know what was in any dish we asked. The menu online wasn't very helpful. When we got to the restaurant, a guy was standing there writing into a notepad. He didn't look up once, or greeted us. We stood for some time before even being acknowledged. I didn't feel that good about this place at this time anymore. We received our food, Chiang Si entree and Tom Moy fried rice. The stir fried entree was flavorless and didnt look appetizing. The fried rice was good, and of course really oily. The food was very hot though. Overall, this place will not be on my to go list.

When you order 2 different entrees, there should be 2 separate containers of the rice. Instead, they put the rice together in one container. Not ok, especially if 2 people are going to 2 different places. Separate the rice!!

Best ever. Consistent quality and taste. I have never had a bad dish in 40 plus years! Sweet and Sour sauce alone is worth the visit- Fantastic! Hopefully dine in will be coming back.
