Blue Sky Chinese Restaurant

I was going to give 1 star, but when I called they were super nice. With them offering takeout only, I ordered some things for dinner, and promptly went to pick them up. I live less than a minute away so from the time I called to the time we started eating was less than 15 minutes. The food was hot. Thats about all I can say that isn't derogatory about the meal. Everything that was breaded was super soggy. So much so, when it came out of the container the breading on all the chicken basically clumped together and the chicken separated completely. It was all over salted. To the point the dog wouldn't eat any either. The fried rice was pretty basic and dry as was the white rice. When I called, they assured me the problem was due to the steaming of the chicken in the containers and that I should get the sauce on the side. She offered to replace my items. I declined in lieu of her promising me she would suggest to every customer to have any sauces put on the side. I'm pretty picky about food so if I have a problem at an establishment I won't return. But like I said, they were super nice and offered to replace my items so for that they get the 2nd star. ***GET YOUR SAUCES ON THE SIDE***

The family and I tried this place for the firat time tonight. The best part of the meal was the steamed white rice that we didn't even know came with our order. We ordered several items and none inspired us to go back. Every dish had little to no flavor. We found several bones in multiple dishes. The cashew chicken had a ton of chicken and celery. A lot of celery. There were very few cashews in it and only about 5 pieces of carrot. I'm not sure that a dish mainly consisting of only 1 vegetable is a stir-fry. Despite all of the chicken, it seemed under cooked. Issued with other dishes ranged from being overcooked, over stuffed with cream cheese and soggy. We were particularly bummed about the soup. The won tons had tough insides and had only wisps of dough. We won't be going back.
