Jade Garden

I absolutely LOVE this place! My favorite Chinese food in Nampa! We had always dined in for the buffet and loved the huge selection of always fresh favorites including sushi and Mongolian bbq! SO good! This past year (quarantine) we’ve Door Dashed and fell in love again with the menu! It includes MANY items not offered at the buffet! My favorite is the lemon chicken! To die for!! My husband is a huge fan of the wonton soup, my gosh it’s delicious too! It’s ALL delicious! Whether we visit the restaurant or have it delivered to our door, it’s always fresh, always delicious, always our favorite!!

Great tasting, saucy Lemon Pan Fried Chicken and delicious Garlic Chicken with a nice tangy sweetness is a couple of the memorable dishes my wife and I have ordered here. It is nice that they include pork fried rice as a normal side and it one of the better fried rice in Corvallis. Jade Garden offers a nice selection of signature dishes that makes it a good place in the Corvallis area to get some comfy Chinese cuisine.

I live out of town, and so ordering food in town is kinda a big thing. I have certain dietary needs, but I can have egg flower soup, and so getting takeout at Jade Garden is special to me. My experience tonight changed that. My husband ordered takeout from the menu online for an A1 ($7.25), C7 ($7.25),C8 ($7.25), and U7 ($6.50). He drove from a ways to pick up our food, and when he got home we realized that my egg flower soup was missing. And I completely understand that this was an honest mistake and I can deal with that, but unfortunately I am not impressed with how the staff at Jade Garden handled this error. I had my husband drive himself and I to the restaurant hoping they could fix this mistake, or at least give us a refund, as we were still charged $29 for the order (I have the receipt still) and should be receiving $6.50 back. The staff argued with me and told me that for sure we did not order an egg flower soup. If we did not order it, than I would like to have the extra $6.50 I was charged to go buy an egg flower soup at Magenta. I worked at a McDonald's for a few years in high school, and even those with the least customer service skills handled situations worse than that, better than that. Not impressed.

1 review, this place deserves more. Been going here with my mom since I was a kid. Now I'm taking my kiddos there. My favorite is the Double Dragon(because it has Lobster🤤). Customize any order(with additional cost of course). Fast friendly service. Good portion size. Small lounge in the back, limited bar though. A Corvallis staple that has withstood the test of time, for a reason. Enjoy!🦞🦐🐙🦆🐓🐖🐂
