Dairy Queen

SLOW DRIVE THRU. Dairy Queen is notorious for long wait times. What's up with that? Does the company not care? "Everyone loves our ice cream and they have no choice.... They can wait; they have no choice!" We waited for over 45 mins! Cars behind us were leaving... You're losing business because of the speed of service. When we FINALLY got to the pickup window... The transaction took forever... Employee was doing all sorts of procedures just to run my card. Then she hands me 1 out of 4 items and says.... "I'd give you the rest of your order, but my manager told me to take my break...." Finish a customer's order then take your break. I observed the employees from the window and they showed no speed at all. They're working comfortably at a SLOW PACE! there had to have been 7-10 cars behind us. I've never expressed my frustration with a business until now. Kirkland, NM, Holbrook AZ, and in Flagstaff AZ are all the same! Horrible speed!

We spent over $45 plus gave tip for dinner, we were asked to pull forward to wait on "fries" only to wait 20 minutes, we try asking for our order through the locked door. The worker forgot we was even waiting on fries, when we was actually waiting for our 6 orders. I get home to feed my family to find out 5 of our 6 orders were wrong. I overpaid for food that would've cost us maybe $20 less. The service was terrible, communication was off, we was the only vehicle that waited 20 minutes while other customers in drive thru was served less than 10 minutes. On top of the inconvenience my children's stomach hurt within an hour after eating the food. Won't be going there again!

The smell in the bathroom was so strange and offensive that noticing how dirty the bathroom was was secondary. We ended up not using the bathroom. Every table in the dining room was filthy. I couldn't even eat my Blizzard because it had a strange taste to it. I think that the machine wasn't cleaned off between Blizzards and whatever was left from the last one ended up in mine as well. Very disappointed on the Dairy Queen.

Haha. I've attempted this drive-thru 4 times in the past 2 weeks. Each time, I've ensed up leaving after 15 minutes of sitting in the drive through. (Before getting to the speaker). But today, I decided to do something different. When I pulled into the drive-thru, I called the next door Pizza Hut. I ordered a stuffed crust pizza. By the time I was out of the Dairy Queen drive-thru, my pizza had already been made and was waiting for me. This was the only time I actually made it through the line at Dairy Queen in Cortez. I ordered a caramel fudge blizzard. After the top layer, there was only ice cream in the cup. No more caramel, nor fudge. You could imagine my dissapointment after such a silly wait. I wish I could show you a picture of this cup of vanilla ice cream they called "Caramel Fudge Blizzard" 😂😂😂 At least the staff were nice.
