Dairy Queen

So call to order a cake yesterday and the girl on the phone was clueless... should've known then this would be a disaster. Anyway, order a cake but I was told I had to pick it up today before 5 because they close and aren't open Saturday or Sunday. Ok no biggie I'll be there. Leave work to go pick up my cake I get there only to be told we couldn't make that cake. WOW no one could call me to let me know... oh that's right the girl who specifically asked someone if I could order a cake and they told her yes, FORGOT to take a phone number. I know it's hard to find good help these days, but you better try again because apparently the staff is incompetent. So, now day before a birthday party and no cake. Will be taking our business to Youngsville DQ which is excellent!

I love DQ's ice cream! I have always been pleased with the service I receive. The store is pretty clean. Yesterday when I was there I noticed that a cooler, of which you can see all four sides, was rather dirty. Ya know the kind made by little fingers covered with ice cream. I brought it to the attention of a staff member. And I feel certain that had I gone in today, it would be cleaned. Now that being said, the only fault I truly find is that it is difficult getting out of the parking lot. You pull out onto a very busy road and sometimes it takes several minutes to achieve this. But otherwise it is a great place to get something cold or hot to eat. They have such a large selection to chose from that there is something for everyone. So stop in and cool off with a great big ice cream cone. 😁

If you don't mind the long wait times, and crowded, outdated facilities, they do have good burgers and fries. Obviously their ice cream is decent too, but they take quite a while to make it. And you are better off getting it "to go" because it's always dirty in here and so packed you can't find a place to sit anyhow. And if you have to use the restroom, do yourself a favor and DON'T! They are tiny, dark, smelly, and even creepy! This place needs a major update. It may be a nice place if it had newer, modern facilities that could keep up with the crowd that is always here. Until then, good food, but just be aware of the rest of the things I mentioned.

I wish there was an option for no stars. The employees are overly rude. They think everyone in the world is beneath them. They publicly made fun of a grown disabled man and made him feel belittled. When confronted about it they tried to justify their actions, there is no justification to doing something like that! The food is always over cooked like the grease for their fries hasn't been changed in a while. I'd rather spend the extra money for quality food and friendly service than to save a buck and support such a negative, toxic, and what looks to be run down environment.
