This place is nice and has a very good feel. The food was tasty and well prepared. The staff were congenial and attentive without being over bearing. The carne adovada was well made just not as spicy I like. That is a complete personal preference......that being said I would rather have well made carne adovada over spicy. The only disappointment was the chips and salsa ......small detail but it sets the tone and level of expectation when making a 1st impression. Great little place....

Right off the bat, we were not cool about the parking spaces… small dirt parking lot, but you can always park in the back. The setting is a small cafe, inside is small enclosure, but has a bit of nostalgia feeling. I believe they have WiFi if you need to get on your laptop 💻. The server we had was friendly and helpful, we always appreciate that. The food was great and portions were just right. For sure, I would love to come back and dine in again, perhaps a luncheon. I didn’t see any outside/patio seating.

I really want to give this one a 5, but the service and food was sub-par to the one in ABQ. Our server was absent, our tea was rancid tasting and when we asked for something different to drink, the server was irritated and said there was nothing wrong with the tea. We were then charged for the tea and the sodas, which was fine, but not our fault it taste bad. Our food was good, we both had the New Mexico BLT and Green Chili Stew. The restaurant itself is clean and cute, but service is better in the Albuquerque location.

I came to NM from Denver looking for a good brunch place to eat.I read all the reviews about this place and was convinced to try it out because of all the positive reviews. It turns out the service and food were terrible. My daughter got chili spilled on her brand new shirt by the waitress, and the food was bland, no flavor at all. I ordered a burrito with green chili that was so dry. They put a small amount of chili on top that tasted gross. I was excited to try NM green chili and I’m very disappointed. I was also promised the manager would take care of my daughter’s food for ruining her shirt and they did not, instead they gave a cookie as if that is making up for her $30 shirt. I would not recommend this place, I would rather eat McDonald’s than to come here again.
