This place was very good, very packed. But our waiter was outstanding and we want to come back period very full of so many customer's. But definitely food or fresh, everything was tasty. Reckon come before after dinner a little bit crowded, but definitely worth it. If you're hangry, come on down and get you some good old vittles partner !

Dined in with the wife. Paid around $43 for the two of us! The buffet food was good. However, I have two complaints. The menudo that they were serving, didn't taste very authentic and the pork inside was quite chewy. The wife got a Salisbury steak, and so did I. My Salisbury steak was raw in the center. I tried their pork ribs and they tasted a tad bit on the dry side. The popcorn shrimp, and the butterfly shrimp were both delicious! Just wished that they served tartar sauce or cocktail sauce somewhere in the seafood buffet. The fries were hot and crispy. The salad was stellar! However, what held it back a half a point, was the fact that one of my croutons was tough and inedible. The server was kind and fast! Dessert was delicious! However, the chocolate pudding tasted a little off... Would recommend this buffet to anyone who is in the Corpus Christi area!
Golden corral has been a go to since i was a small child, the cleanliness needs improvement mainly when it comes to children's highchair, there gross! Our waitress was rude, our rolls were hard, just wasn't a good day to go!
I just ate here with my daughter for a late lunch. They had plenty of options to choose from. The waitress was nice and was good to us. The restaurant appeared to be clean. The food all tasted good as well as our sweet teas. The peach cobbler was amazing! It cost $23 for both of us. The only complaint I have is that some of the food was cold when I sat down to eat.
Took my mom to go eat at Golden corral. The food was great. Service was very nice. Plenty of seating. Soon as someone left the tables were cleaned. Refills as many as you want. Great time.

This morning a young lady had alot on her tray,taking dirty dishes to the back. As my husband was next to our table, the lady dropped some items off of her tray. Needless to day two other employees came over to assist her. Nothing was caught on my husband's pants, but the teamwork from the other two employees was AWESOME! They told the young lady that she could go and they cleaned up the rest. Now a days it hard to find good teamwork. Kudos you all. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

Talk About GREATNESS, Team Golden Corral Corpus Christi demonstrates the true meaning of the word. As a very long time customer of GC, it had been over 2 years since at this store. What a positive shock I had! The new inside look is phenomenal. However, the high point of the visit was the customer service. It all started with the extreme positivity of the person at the register. His attitude and display of professionalism and cheerfulness let me know right then and there that I was in for a great time having dinner. Then on to the server, Irene. Irene is one in a million! Never a dull moment during a visit when she is your server. As I was enjoying the GREAT food (which is always hot and well prepared), I was watching all of the other servers. I was highly impressed with all of their obvious positive dedication to their job. I don't think I saw any of them taking a break from their work. Their positive work ethics were certainly visible, always happily serving their customers or ensuring the cleanliness and correctness of their assigned areas. It must be stressed that no TEAM just happens. It is always a reflection of the Management. I know that the Leader of Team Golden Corral Corpus Christi has been there over 10 years. She is without a doubt The Best of The Best. Every business in the customer service industry should model their managers after her.
Many times only 'Complainers' will take the time to write notes to corporate. This team richly deserves Appreciation and Thanks for a JOB WELL DONE. To the entire team at Golden Corral #0938, THANK YOU for the job you do in making the dining experience make it feel like one is having dinner with family. You ARE appreciated.
