The food was delcious! The service was great! It's a great change from your run of the mill Chinese food. There are so many great options. It can be a bit pricey but is well worth it. There are so many great options to choose from. I can't name them all. Their Peking Duck is a must try! Great dumplings, fried or steamed. Whether you choose their pork, beef, chicken, lamb, or seafood dishes, you can't go wrong.
The restaurant is very nice inside and our waitress checked on us frequently. We had the Egg Foo Young and Happy Family. We didn't care for the Egg Foo Young, too much cabbage. The gravy for it was good though. The Happy Family was terrific. You can taste how fresh the vegetables and other ingredients are. We'll come back and get the Happy Family again and try something new.
Good authentic food. The service was great. Both servers answered all our questions and were very friendly. The food was good, but I would have liked an extra kick, especially when we asked it to be spicy.

Pork Fried Dumplings - I wasn't a big fan of the dumplings as they weren't as flavorful, but that was my opinion.
Hunan Chicken - Nice and tasty but lacked an extra kick. I'd recommend you ask for extra hot if you want it to be spicy. Overall, it went well with the streamed rice. The broccoli was fresh, tasty, and crispy!
I would give this restaurant a solid 7/10 and would recommend that you try it out. We will be returning again, even if it's just for the egg rolls!
My husband and I are. Wry particular about Chinese food. I’m so glad we tried this place. It is definitely going to be our favorite. The outside can make you misjudge this treasure. The place is beautiful, clean and inviting. The wait staff is friendly and you can see the kitchen from your seat. The food was delicious and fresh. As soon as they put the plate in front of me I could smell all the delicious spices and the taste was phenomenal. The vegetables were perfect as well as the shrimp (most places over cook it) not here the shrimp was tender. We will definitely be coming to try more dishes. Don’t be overwhelmed by the large menu there is an American menu towards the back of the menu.
An absolutely fantastic place for real Asian food. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The food is amazing! It is also very nicely decorated inside. A little hidden gem in a strip mall. They even have the American style Chinese dishes if you are not brave enough to try the real ones.
This place is in a plaza. It features some traditional Chinese dishes as well as Americanized ones. Overall the place is very clean and they have good variety in menu.
The food was delicious, fresh and tasty. Very nice use of spices. The portions were were rather generous! The hot and spicy soup was very nice and egg rolls super crispy. Loved the fried rice as it was light and not too overdone with soy or salt. The Hunan shrimp plate had the shrimp done perfectly- not over cooked, really great job! It was also lightly spicy which made the taste perfect.
I will definitely plan on returning.

Best orange chicken and rice I’ve ever had in my life. Big portions, could not finish everything and it was fresh and hot. 10/10. Best Chinese restaurant in all of Corpus Christi in my opinion.
EXTREMELY good food! Inside is very clean and cool atmosphere. Egg foo young was great, along with hunan beef. The lunch portions were perfect and reasonably priced.
The waitress that helped us seemed a bit stressed and was kinda rude, but didn't take away from the overall experience. Definitely coming back again for more.
My best friend discovered this gem a couple years ago. She's since moved away, but she and and I eat here every time she's in town. The dining room is spacious, with a quiet & calm atmosphere. The waitstaff is always attentive and friendly, and the food is always fresh and delicious, and we both try something new every time we go....and we've NEVER been disappointed.
Fine dining in an unpretentious atmosphere! This place is the best authentic Chinese food I’ve had in South Texas! Orange chicken with the jasmine white rice is a must try. Big portions so order al a cart for the table.
The white table cloths, real glassware and linen napkins would make you think you were dining in an upscale establishment but most people, including myself, are in shorts and t-shirts.
If you are visiting the Corpus Christi area I would highly advise hitting this place. There are no buffets here (thank god) but real authentic Chinese cooking representing the multiple regions of China (Hunan, Szechuan, Canton).
Prices were extremely reasonable. Our family of four ate including drinks for less than $60.00 dollars. Xie Xie Dao Authentic Asian Cuisine!
