Miss Donuts

This is my favorite local place for both donuts and breakfast sandwiches. I've never had anything here that I didn't love and the people behind the counter are always very efficient. Be warned, however, that this place is good so there is almost always a line. No quick runs here, but it is well worth the wait and continues to be my go-to.

Who doesn't love a tasty donut. There's are the classic donut shop kind. They have a great one that's like a chocolate bar but is filled with chocolate and topped with chocolate chips for a triple chocolate flavor. Every time i’ve went to miss donut and bought boba or just anything there in general, the lady rips you off. she always charges a couple of dollars extra to rip you off and it has happened every single time i’ve went to buy from this store. also takes around 10 minutes to finish making the drink and normally gets my order wrong. any other boba place i’ve went to makes the drinks in under 7 minutes.

I was asked to get specific donuts but these were all they had. I sent a photo to my mom so that she could pick. I also told the lady that I was sorry, because some of the donuts that we wanted weren't here on display, I was gonna send a photo for my mom to choose. This Miss Donut Lady slammed her tongs back, glared at me, and walked back to the kitchen, like I wasted her time. I find this a good thing. Thank God, I didn't waste my money here. (Btw, this was at Nov.27, Wednesday, around 12:50pm.)

Miss Donuts, at 420 N. McKinley St. Suite 109 in Corona, was inspected May 12 and received a failing grade of 80/B with two critical violations. Some items were at unsafe temperatures in a display cooler that was impounded for not keeping cold; the external thermometer read 52 degrees and the person in charge thought that was acceptable (41 or below is required). The unit was impounded. Also, the inspector said food-contact equipment throughout the restaurant was visibly dirty and the person in charge didn’t know how to properly wash dishes — some items were only sprayed with hot water and nothing was sanitized correctly. This was the restaurant’s second failed inspection in two years and it was shut down because of an overflowing grease interceptor in November 2018; it now faces an administrative hearing.
