This place was decent nothing spectacular. The scallops were good I’m not used to having fried scallops lol the wings were amazing and the staff was great. pet frieendly which was a plus

Wonderful little gem! Our party of 11 had ample room at one of the big tables outside. Everyone ordered something different and everything was delicious. Nice portions and reasonably priced. The chef breaded & cooked to order, food was fried or grilled to perfection, & nothing was overly seasoned. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Quick service and very tasty food. My clam strips were lightly breaded and crispy. Excellent remoulade! The hush puppies were yummy, too. Will definitely return.
Edited to add... I went back with my daughter and we shared the fried green tomatoes and calamari. The tomatoes were near perfection!

Hand battered and breaded fresh fish! What's not to love? Not pretentious! Good food cooked for you!! The house made remoulade sauce is liquid gold! (Thus the photo!) We dug into our PIPING HOT fish and chips, flounder sandwich, and boneless chicken wings immediately, soooooo, no photos.... not sorry! Absolutely fantastic!!! It's a bit tricky to find the entrance but well signed ... sit outside and enjoy! You are seated, then you order at the register - don't be afraid to tip generosly because they don't deliver your food and disappear... the service was helpful and continuous... we wanted more tarter sauce (which is a dilly delight!!) and if it was brought to us instantly ... can't rave enough

A bit hard to find. It’s located in the nags head hammocks entrance and then you proceed down a hallway.
A few outdoor tables with a small view of the sound which was nice. They have shades up but was hard to find two seats with no sun and the place was empty.
Indoor seating was very bland. Looked like a cafeteria.
Good prices.
You order at the counter, no wait staff so takes away the service measure. I do understand why restaurants prefer this method though. It’s a big cost savings.
Food was brought out quickly. Condiments were on the table.

This place is tucked into a corner of the buildings. The food was good and service quick. I got the fish and chips with the hush puppies. My wife got the crab cakes. Fish and chips was very good and a large portion. They had a bunch of condiments on each table to go with it. ( tartar sauce , ketchup, vinegar , etc. ) The crab cakes were a good portion size as well and were pretty good. The hush puppies and French fries were very good also. Everything came out piping hot. And the pricing was not too bad.
The atmosphere is pretty bland. Small indoor seating with not much going on, a typical take out style. Overall, I think it’s a good spot for a quick lunch but don’t expect the atmosphere of a high end restaurant.

We arrived right before they opened. The service was quick, and the food was hot and tasted pretty good.
However, we were expecting a more mid-level restaurant, not a diner level. Our food came out in plastic baskets, with plastic utensils. Not what we expected based on their menu.

Everyone loved the food!
We went midday on Sunday, but it was still packed. The staff was running full speed and it was exciting to watch. The grilled chicken sandwich was so delicious and juicy. It had great seasoning and flavor. Everyone else loved their meals, kids included. The fried green tomatoes are a must try.

Easy to overlook if you're not looking for it, but definitely recommended. The fried calamari had the perfect crisp, not chewy, and well seasoned. Also a pretty good portion for an appetizer, could easily be a meal. Drinks are self serve, so table service was minimal but the wait staff are friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating available, great place for a quick bite if you're shopping in the area.

This was our favorite meal of our vacation! I have 2 picky kids and they had perfectly grilled cheese and delicious cheeseburger with the best fries! We also ordered the fried green tomatoes, and I have to say that they were the best fried green tomatoes I’ve ever had!!! I ate the chowder and a Caesar salad. I would have ordered more chowder, but I didn’t want to look like a 🐷. Lol. The prices are really good and the service was great!! We loved that the weather was perfect and we were able to sit out on the deck!
