Carey's Brew House

Life can be complicated with all of it's twists and turns, ups and downs. But places like this remind us that it's okay to take time to relax, enjoy each other's conversation, and have some delicious food while we're at it. From familiar faces, to new one's, the welcoming atmosphere let's you know this is a place of rest and good company. Does this establishment have it's imperfections? Yes, as well as any other place. But one thing that can be said about Carey's is this...it's a family run restaurant and you'll be treated like family rather than a stranger.

We were headed to Canada for my step-Father’s funeral. Not a joyous time, though he was 99 years old when he died. Stopped half way and stayed at the Quality Inn. The gentleman at the hotel suggested Carey’s and oh, we owe him a big “thank you”. Had great beer, super delicious fried pickles, shared a Cuban( need to use different bread) and had a recommended desert of chocolate mousse cake with a raspberry beer. That desert was the suggestion of the bartender, waiter. He said, and I quote, “if Heaven had a flavor, this would be it”. He was totally right! What a great place! We loved it! Thank you for a great respite on our way to a not so pleasant destination.

The service was excellent - helpful and prompt! We went on a pretty dead night, but the atmosphere was still very chill for a weeknight. Black & Blue burger and the beer cheese burger were really good, cooked exactly the way we had requested. The pretzels and beer cheese are not to be missed - both homemade! Great work to the team working at Carey's Brew House!

My wife and I went to Carey’s Brew House yesterday. We had a long day of hiking and wanted to get a beer and a burger and we were not disappointed. We got there at 8:30pm and they took us even though they close at 9:00pm. The bartender Kyle was so welcoming and friendly and had some nice beer suggestions. We tried a few different flights of beers and they were all excellent as well. The burgers were also very good and the buffalo wings and chili were delicious! Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area and we look forward to coming again soon. Amazing restaurant experience!

Carey’s is a fairly good place- good food and amazing beer selection. Pool table! And a kids area for playing. The last time I came in, the food was pretty good and service was a little slow, but nothing to complain about. This time, we had a tattooed server; maybe family? She was nice enough but didn’t exactly pay attention to us. Spent most of our time eating an appetizer on the phone, and didn’t come back to us after she hung up- just went to chat with another worker. We decided to eat our main meal elsewhere. Also- potato skins were more like just baked potatoes.
