We found this place in a travelers guide for Corinth MS. We read about a sandwich called the Slugburger which from the description sounded like something we had for lunch at school back in the day. There were several restaurants listed in the guide but this one was named for the burger so we picked it. It is a quaint little diner with 2 tables and the main bar seating. The food is great and the people are exceptionally friendly. They deep fried the Slugburger and it tasted just like I remembered. If you find yourself on Highway 72 to or from Memphis stop by and say hi and while you're at it try a Slugburger or anything else on the menu.

Great bacon cheeseburger....reminded us of the ones mu husband's mother made.

The "chicken strips" were TINY and dry! The fries tasted like grease and nothing else. The edges of the slugburger were burnt. Absolute waste of money and time unless you like eating bland food and grease.

Never had heard of a slug burger and we couldn't have picked a better place to have our first! What an awesome "burger"! Will definitely go back again. A bonus was the staff was great and very friendly!
