Cindy's Place

Was in town working and searched local places to eat lunch. Sooooo glad I went to CINDY'S. I ordered the country fried steak with white gravy, mashed potatoes with brown gravy, fried okra and a yeast roll. IT was SO DELICIOUS!!! Great price and very fast receiving my order. ***Only negative is they ONLY TAKE CASH PAYMENTS.

This was our first visit but hopefully if We are off work again during lunchtime we will get to eat there again.. Everything tasted great. Large selection of meats and sides. Small dining room but have a drive up as well. We called ahead and our food was already packaged and still hot waiting on us. We decided to dine in. The man on the phone taking our order was very helpful and let us know that we would need cash, since cards were NOT accepted.

This place deserves an award!! I stopped eating my food just to give this review! This food is amazing the mash potatoes aren’t boxed they are real potatoes!! The livers melt in your mouth!! The fried okra is hand breaded I can tell. The Mack and cheese are as for sure maid from scratch! I haven’t tried the pie I got but I bet it’s gonna be heaven!! I have lived around here for 6 months and I can’t believe I have never went and tried there. Amazing work and great customer service. Today I got to feel like I walked in to my grandmas house and got one of her meals I miss so much!! I will be coming back!!

Food was disappointing. All instant or canned products. Not much flavor. No menus available just on dry erase boards on the wall. Potatoes (instant) were runny and even with ordering Turkey and dressing there was maybe only a teaspoon of gravy and a bite of turkey. Corn bread was blend. They didn't offer any condiments except salt and pepper. No butter with rolls or corn muffin?
