Great pasta. A bit pricey, but worth the money for fresh pasta and a great sauce. Rose has a wonderful restaurant that has some old world charm.
LoBellos's is really good and actually homemade. It's a great place to go and grab a bite. You can tell that try actually appreciate you being there. It's my favorite Italian food on the Western side of the city. I definetly recomend you checking it out.
Terri. Great spaghetti house, its not like the chain restaurant, rose comes out and talks to you, and treats you like she has known you for years. She also loves children and always has a special treat for them. I love her ravoili and her sauce is great. Her homemade dressing is also great.
Went because Guy Fieri recommended it on DDD! The food tasted great! The downside... portions were too small. Also, nobody offered to seat us. People coming in were indeed just as hesitant as I was with my party to seat ourselves.
Fresh. Some people don't like the wait, so they won't like this place. But the night I was there, they ran our of what I ordered, and instead of saying, "would you like to choose something else?" they made more raviolis, FRESH - from scratch. So if you're lacking patience, as some on this site might seem to lack, go somewhere else like where you can buy pre-fabbed, frozen crap!
Food is great-reminds me of the way my mom used to cook. Owners son is super nice. I love love love the rigatoni. Not open lately but would be there if it was. Ben you are awesome
Had a fantastic dinner, lasagna with pasta fagioli to start. The prices were reasonable for fresh handmade pasta and fresh mozzarella in a portion size big enough to fill you up a little too much :)
Had a great conversation with Ben (the owner) while he was serving us. Got to learn so much about his family and the area.
If you're near Pittsburgh you owe it to yourself to stop by for a meal
Very good meatballs, son runs the restaurant now. Classic Restaurant in Cory, and a good place to eat since the 40s. Class and simple Italian dinners. Nicer service than Segneris down the road.
Amazing food wish was open more. The mother was wonderful and always came out to make sure you were happy. Really miss going on date nights. Always left full.
