Maxime's Mediterranean

Was happily surprised. My friend and I were tired of the same old restaurants in the area and asked Google to find restaurants near us. We never knew this place existed! I am glad we decided to try it. They make everything homemade and you can taste the difference. It's a very small menu with daily specials, but it did not bother me at all. I had the special: eggplant with meat and some sort of sauce, served with rice and a salad. It was delicious. I also ordered grape leaves. Those were OK. My friend had the hummus appetizer (really creamy and tasty) and a marinated chicken sandwich. I tasted it and loved it. We had one hour lunch break and we were able to be served, eat, pay and box our leftovers under an hour (that's hard to find in Moon!!!). We will go back.

A hidden treasure! We discovered Maxine's on a phone mapping program and decided to give it a try. The other reviews are very positive. But, nothing prepared us for how delicious the food was. The service is friendly and quick, the atmosphere is small, but cozy. But, when the food arrives you will be blown away. My wife and I both ordered the daily special (she got the beef and I the chicken). I don't even know what it was called. The flavors were brilliantly mixed with a depth I found intoxicating. Even the rice (and who reviews the rice?) was worth investing in and really concentrating on the flavors and texture. We also got stuffed grape leaves which were outstanding with just the right balance of spices and lemon. And, who can pass up Baklava? If you eat at Maxine's it would be a crime! It was one of the greatest things I have ever eaten. We highly recommend Maxine's Mediterranean Restaurant and will be returning within the week. With friends!

This past weekend, my family and I posted a surprise 60th birthday party for our mother at Maxime’s. It was by far the best birthday party we’ve ever had! The food was excellent as usual. We love the grape leaves chicken schwarma, salad, hummus, pita, taboli-you name it, it is all amazing! The owners are the most wonderful people you’ll ever meet. Lelah is so gracious and so kind! She went out of her way to make sure our event was perfect and did many extra things at no cost to us. We will all be back to eat again and cannot say enough good things! Definitely put this restaurant on your ‘must eat at’ list.

This place is a hidden gem. I was looking for a place to have a late lunch nearby and found Maxime's.. blink and you could miss it. Our meal was fantastic. We had grape leaves (with lamb) baba ghanoush, and the special.. spicy chicken with rice and salad. Grape leaves were perfectly spiced and prepared... Lebanese .. warm with lemon. Baba ghanoush was seasoned perfectly. The special was very tasty. If you happen to be in the area, check the place out.
