Nicole, the barmaid was totally pleasant. She was on it she was bouncing all over the place but doing it so smoothly. met a couple ladies here we didn't know each other from Adam. We ended up sitting down all together eating lunch and having a drink. We talked about animals and our dogs. And some politics. Got a little emotional and personal but we all had a great time. Respected each other's opinions.. This bar is totally positive and pleasant I enjoyed the chicken salad that I had and the company beautiful positive atmosphere you have to come see this place. You won't be disappointed very clean and you feel loved when you walk in here.Hope this bar stays open forever and it keeps the same positive vibes and they're beautiful customer service... Very surprised. The water was out in ambridge today so the place I planned dinning was closed. So I googled Fish sandwich . I drive plast the Sea Shell on a regular basis. I ordered two fish sandwiches to go they where excellent. The fish was wrapped separately in tin foil, The meal was definitely enough for 4. The fish sandwich was huge, The fish tender, flaky cooked perfectly.

Horrible Bar Servixe. I have never had as awful an experience, in my entire life, as the one I had at the Sea Shell. Based on the overt discrimination, I would have thought we were black citizens of the 1960s in the "Deep South." <br/><br/>The bartender was so lazy she refused our service (which our individual tabs have amounted to well over $100 per person before) because we arrived after midnight. I reiterate, she didn't serve us because of laziness, which costs the establishment money. <br/><br/>I bartended for 4 years while working on my undergraduate degree; it is absurd to rationalize one's states of intoxication on the way they entered. The person who was immediately "cut off" only had 3 drinks prior, and was conspicuously not enebriated. It's also a disgrace to have this type of service in an establishment. <br/><br/>The bartender told us we all had to leave. Quickly, however, she retracted her statement once I articulated our perspective. However, she chose not to serve our designated driver, who again, only had three drinks throughout the course of the entire friday night.

My family and I have been in the Moon Area for a number of years. I feel this local bar is one of the best bars in the area. Yes, the food is good. The selection of beers is alright. It's the kind of place where you can go and feel right at home with the extremely nice staff that they have there. I enjoy sitting by the cozy fire in the colder months. I especially enjoy the patio in the warmer months. It's a great place to go with family, friends or even by yourself. I enjoy sitting at the bar for a couple drinks after work and talking to the pleasent bar maids and waitresses.

Like moms kitchen. My Wife and I Flew into Pittsburgh on monday and wanted to stop and eat before heading home. We asked are flight attendant if she knew any were close to the airport we could stop to have lunch. She recomended the Sea Shell in moon. So we stoped for lunch. we ordered the special a meatball hogie. I have to say the service was great and so was the food. The waitress lynne was very helpful when we needed extra drinks and also gave us directions. We have found a new place to eat and will definitely be back!! <br/><br/> ps: Can not wait to try the seafood..

Horrible Service-Good Food. My co-workers and I started to frequent the Sea Shell. We started going there for the great food and because it was close to our place of work. We soon started running into problems when we were there for our holiday party and when my Director got up to leave, the waitress (who messed up our orders and forgot our food) came over and asked if we had a problem with the service. We said No, everything was okay. She said, "We'll that lady didn't tip me very well, and that's just horrible. She shouldn't do that." <br/><br/>About a month later we came back (without my Director!) and we had a different waitress. Their were 4 of us sitting at a 6 person table (seat yourself). We were enjoying our food, when the waitress came over and asked us to move so she could sit a table of 5 down. In disbelief, we agreed, picked up our food and moved to the next table. The waitress avoided us like the plague the rest of the night. <br/><br/>I've heard the service is different there for lunch, they might have 3 waitress on whereas they only have ONE waitress on for the evening/dinner. <br/><br/>The food is great but I wouldn't recommend going at night time and sitting down. Do take-out!

Don't Get It.... Way too expensive. $6.50 for a 16oz Sierra Nevada?! $3.75 for a 16oz domestic light draft during happy hour? The patio could be a nice place to have a beer, but the taps aren't well kept either.<br/><br/>Food prices are less offensive, but the products are generally just frozen/fried bar food. If the burger (which I do presume to be fresh) is a "shell favorite", why is it always overcooked to hell (and cut in half to verify the overcooked state).<br/><br/>I hear arguments that this place "caters to an older crowd" or "tries to keep the (RMU) college kids away", but I'd think that a nice place with such aims would be able to provide a hot water heater in the men's rest room (seriously - wash your hands in there some time and tell me if you can hold on to your glass when you return to the bar!).
