I was hoping for better but it was still very good. I was hoping to be blown away. We had buffalo meatball with pasta and chicken with risotto. For appetizer, we had tuna with tostones and also a house salad. The waiter was accommodating and brought balsamic and sesame dressing when he said the dressing had sesame seeds. It turns out that the dressing was based on sesame seed but did not have the sesame seed itself. The tostones and tuna were pretty good. The meatball was also very good but I was not wow’d. The chicken was excellent but the risotto was room temperature. The vegetables were also undercooked (very hard). The dessert was good. It was the guava cheesecake. I don’t mind paying a lot for food but I did feel like I overpaid what it was. I was also charged an 18% service fee which was not expected. Perhaps I am not accustomed to pay for this at eating establishments. I just figured people reading my review should be aware of this practice.
The staff was very courteous. The service could have been better. I waited what I think was too long to get my check. I drink a lot of water and my cup was always filled so that was a major plus.

HIT: Caffe Vialetto’s risottos have stood the test of time. A good portion of the main dishes served are accompanied by risottos that can easily stand alone. The Baby Ossobuco offered on the Miami Spice menu is no different. Accompanied by a decadent mushroom risotto, this dish is a clear standout; homestyle, tender, and meaty. You cannot miss out on this one! I have to also give a special shout-out to that intense Dulce de Leche Panna Cotta. WOW! I’m still thinking about it.

The food is delicious, try the short rib and Champagne Risotto, best in town! All the appetiziers are innovative and yummy.
Marcelo and Ernie, are on top of their business and make all their guests feel like family and friends. The staff has exceptional customer service and really go the extra mile. No complaints here, each time you can expect quality food and service. One of Miami's best spots.
One of My Favorites!. This is the one restaurant I think of when I really want to treat a friend. The food is always delicious. Service is the best I've had in Miami. The atmosphere is warm and intimate. The menu changes so I always ask the waiter what I want - and have never been disappointed.

Great Pasta!!!!. A must try is the papardelle with short rib. The raviolis are all great too!!! My favorite thing about this place is that they do whatever you want to make you happy.

For a guy whose mother's Italian food can't be rivaled, this restaurant is a great alternative. It's not your traditional Italian food, which is why I recommend it, otherwise I'd invite you over to my mom's house.

Cozy Place, Good Food. Recently had a double date with another married couple at Cafe Vialetto. My wife and I arrived about 5 minutes before our agreed upon meet up time with the other couple and decided to try the Bar. The Bar is very small (6 seats) with no bartender. There were several waiters who appeared to be resetting the dining room after an event, but no one asked if we wanted something to drink, wine, etc.
When we arrived at 7:30 there was one table seated. Our friends called advising they would be about 20 minutes late. In that 20 minutes almost every table filled up and we decided to grab a table before none were left. We ordered an appetizer to have while we awaited out friends. The pear stuffed ravioli with cream sauce was a hit with both my wife and I, as was the complimentary bread and tomatoe mix (similar to bruschetta mix).
We all ordered specials. The waiter was gave good service and even switched my wife's glass of wine at no cost when she preferred mine. My wife's snapper looked delicious and my beef short rib pasta was very good. My only complaint was that the short rib meat was removed from the bone and shredded into the past (I prefer to eat it off the bone), but it was good nonetheless.
Each couple shared a dessert. Our tiramisu was above average from those we have tried elsewhere (my wife is a bit of a tiramisu snob and she gave it her endorsement).
The bill amounted to about $55 per person which was not bad considering the quality of the food. Will definitely go again.
Skip the appetizers and check out all the great pasta - especially the buffalo (bison) meatballs. The decor, din lighting, and music leave something to be desired. The service was good. Their parking lot is valet-only 🙄 and an 18% gratuity is added onto the bill.
Highly recommend, excellent food. The specials were amazing I would of have order all of them. Our server was very food also and prices very reasonable compared to others. I guess that's why they have stayed in business for over 20 years. Will be back soon.
I went for a private event and realized it is a beautiful place. The food was amazing! Really outstanding.

All I can say is wow. On a whim we decided to pop Out of the Miami airport during an extended layover and picked Caffe Vialetta. What an amazing choice. Owner was so friendly and accommodating. Food was to die for. Bread is homemade and if I could I would have taken a few loaves hone in my luggage! We had pear ravioli’s as an appetizer and I could have just eaten them all night. Then we had the short rib pappardelle and the pasta del ao. Sigh. I’ll dream about them…they are known for their short ribs and the short rib pappardelle didn’t disappoint. And the pasta with shrimp mushrooms and sun dried tomatoes was also amazing. This is a must visit place!!!
What a nice surprise to find this fine dining option right in CG. We stopped in not having any expectations as we drove by frequently but never looked it up. We were pleasantly surprised by the upscale yet cozy atmosphere. Excellent service with very fresh and flavorful food. I think this qualifies as a hidden gem. The short rib pappardelle was one of the best things I’ve had in a long time, and that’s saying something after an extended trip to Miami has given me plenty of opportunities to eat at nice places. It is really special. I was surprised at the good size of the dishes and not overly expensive prices (two large meatballs were $9). It’s definitely worth stopping in. We’re going back next week just for the short rib dish.
Food was amazing. They were a little backed up and the owner personally took care of our drink and food order. That was really nice of him. Will definitely go there again.
