The building is very nice and the decor is festive. It is large with a few large rooms and a bar. The employees are cheerful and friendly. Prices are reasonable and portions are good. The chips were too thick and hard for my preference. I prefer thin and crispy chips. The salsa was good and had a little kick to it. The bbq pork tacos were very good but the black beans did not taste good to me. The beef burrito was ok.

I came to Ohio to celebrate my friend's 30th birthday. She wanted to eat Mexican food for dinner, so we all went to this place for dinner. The food was very good, I could tell it's authentic Mexican food. They served us unlimited chips and salsa. The chips are so good, and the salsa even better. FYI the salsa is a bit spicy so for those that aren't into spices don't dip too much into the salsa. Six of us came, and our meals were served within 10 minutes of ordering. I ordered fried burrito and enchillada. My husband ordered a burrito bowl. They were all good. We told the waiters that it's my friend's birthday, and they surprised her with a song and free fried ice cream. This dessert is very specialy, there's actual corn flakes in the ice cream?!?! That's genius, it tasted so good! Overall, very good experience here!

Food was amazing. Really down to earth authentic food. Server was friendly and good, just took a while to get our checks which is why I am knocking it a star. The atmosphere and the food were honestly good. If you want a good Mexican dinner, look no further.

I hate to leave this because their food is actually good, but I’ve had it. I always order the Arroz con pollo… it comes with guac & sour cream. They NEVER include the guac or sour cream in the order. I ALWAYS have to go back and ask. ALWAYS! It’s annoying & I’m fed up. I just let it go today because I’m too tired to have to ask. Well, today their bag broke spilling out all my food. Not their fault, but come on. Secure the bags better please & the lids weren’t even secure on the food. The salsa container is one thing, but the plastic top with aluminum bottom should have been properly closed. This is my last day eating with them. This wasn’t the first time my bag broke, but this is the first time all my food has spilled out. I’m over it. $17 down the drain. I’ll find another Mexican restaurant to frequent.

After trying this place for the first time, I have to say that I was pleased with my experience. We were greeted and seated by friendly employees; the booth was comfortable and the table was clean. The nice waiter took my order, which was a coke, the "carnitas tapatias," and a side of Mexican rice. What arrived was two massive plates of food. I had no idea that portions would be so huge. My side of rice was a mistake, it tasted good, but ended up not eating most of it. As far as the carnitas tapatias, the pork itself was nice and juicy. It needed a little stirring to keep the meat on the bottom from getting too soggy. Along the pork, there was tortillas wrapped in foil, guac, beans, rice, salsa, cheese, jalapenos, and lettuce. Everything tasted great. If I'm back in the neighborhood, I will definitely consider Tres Potrillos.

We sat at the bar arrived around 745 it was a long waiting process to get waited on. There seemed to only been 1 person running the bars which would explain the long delay on placing drink orders and food. It took 30 minutes before the food was done. Normally they don't take that long. I'll definitely go to another restaurant next time

Quick, friendly, courteous service. Fajita platter mostly great but rice could use an updated recipe as the rice we had looked nice but had very little flavor. Facility is very clean and welcoming.

I’ve gone here a few times and for the most part, it’s good food and a good experience. Our servers have been fantastic. The last two times we came there was extreme disorder when trying to get a table. And it seems the prices are a little bit too inflated at the moment. We paid $10 for a queso bowl!!
