The Bacon Strip

Couldn’t pay me to visit this place again. The owners are actually rude people, I witnessed both Emily and Ruben be kind and hospitable to their regular customers, I could tell they knew them all by name.. but for me this is my 2nd time at the Bacon Strip in YEARS because I was displeased the first time.. just to be disappointed once again. If you are NOT A REGULAR they will not treat you with the same respect. The food that I ordered was prepared carelessly, that I actually didn’t eat it and at this point just wanted to pay for my son’s food that he did eat and was going to take home leftovers, and leave. Emily had the audacity to belittle me to other guests thinking that I wasn’t listening all because I didn’t enjoy her food. I then asked for the untouched meal to be removed from my bill and the owner Emily refused. You’re safer going to a diner if they mess your food up they won’t tell you food is too expensive to replace!!!! BE BETTER Bacon Strip. Your customers deserve better

This is the second time I’ve come to this restaurant and I really wish I was able to come more often. I traveled all the way from East Stroudsburg for the delicious food and great hospitality. The owners make your feel like you’ve been friends for years and the waitresses are wonderful and so attentive to all of your needs. The waitress even stopped what she was doing to hold my baby while I got her bottle ready because she was being a little fussy. If that’s not service I don’t know what is!! Everything is fresh off the grill comes out perfectly hot! I highly recommend the home style homefries!! Yum yum!! Will deff work on getting back here asap!!!

DO NOT EAT HERE unless you are a REGULAR. It is my understanding the owners Ruben and Emily have been rude and disrespectful towards other customers while their backs are turned including myself, I was served cold hard food and asked nicely not to be billed for it. Owner Emily Alkhal decided due to her “products” being expensive she “doesn’t care” and I still have to pay for food I DID NOT EAT. I have never felt so unwelcome as a customer anywhere in my life as well as it was not a child friendly environment for my toddler!!

Excellent breakfast!!! Waitress is always kind, everyone in the establishment is genuinely sweet. My parents are regulars and I know why. Even snuck in paying for my parents and hubby and it was as much as I usually pay for two of us anywhere else for far less quality service. I wish them continued success!
