While in Long Island, my husband wanted Jamaican food, so we stopped here. The restaurant was small and there weren't any places to eat inside. However, the food was delicious. My husband ordered the curry chicken, some steak w/vegetables, cabbage, and rice and beans. I ordered jerk chicken and ribs. Oh my, those ribs were some of the best tasting ribs I have ever tasted at a restaurant; they were juicy, well seasoned, and they had a lot of meat. The food was reasonably priced, and the customer service was excellent. Some Jamaican restaurants have this hot pickled pepper hotsauce that they sale, it is super hot (do not recommend for those who are faint at heart when it comes to heat) it is deliciously flavored and compliments the food. I didn't see it, so I asked if they had it they did, and we were able to get some in a to go container. We recommend this place. When we take another trip to Long Island, we will definitely go back again. We gave it an overall 5. Our only suggestion would be to have more ox tails (my husband wanted some, yet they were sold out because they are a popular item). In addition, just a heads up, they are located in an area where there are many shops, yet the parking is very limited. Fyi, they did give me more chicken/ribs; I was eating them before I took the picture (so good).

Born and raised in Brooklyn, in the hood and we had Caribbean spots everywhere, but it comes down to what spot tastes the best. I moved out to Long Island a few years back not expecting to find a valid Caribbean spot. Jamaican Paradise is the first spot I tried out and ever since the first try I gave it a thumbs up. I stopped buying from for a while and when I came back it's like I'm back in Brooklyn. I had their large mango salmon with sides the day and honestly because of that plate is the reason why I'm writing this. I NEVER had salmon that tasted sweet, rich and glamorous in flavor. Mixing the salmon up with the sides made it 10x better👌. This spot got their mac n cheese on POINT and most Jamaican spots just can't get it right. I usually don't post reviews even if the place is good. The place have to honestly be better than good in order for me to say something about it. I give this place a 10/10 and I recommend everyone to try this place out if you want your tastes buds to explode. And just know I'm not a easy person to please when it comes to food, I just have a high tolerance when it comes to certain foods.

Get the bun and cheese and the beef patty with coco bread one of my favorite things to eat. The bun and cheese is sweet and the cheese is fresh and soft. The pie (baked mac n cheese) with the BBQ chicken and cabbage is delicious. The ladies are so nice and nice hospitality. They gave me the best bang for my buck and you have to try the homemade lemonade.

Their okra and saltfish was excellent. The okra tasted fresh, and it had some crunch. The fish was perfectly seasoned and had the right amount of salt. The only negative is that they do not sell any Black Cake slices, only the whole cake.

Their food is always fresh and delicious. My personal favs are the oxtail and rice and peas! I used them to cater a BBQ recently and everyone said the food was outstanding!!! The owner was even helpful in suggestions for the menu. Excellent customer service, communication and great price!!! If it weren't for inflation, I'd eat there every night!!!!

Str8 up love this place. The plates are delicious and filling. Great prices and awesome size. I travel from Ronkonkoma to get a lil taste of Jamaica. I've been to the motherland a couple times now. Favorite vacation destination. I love everything about it. The spot is small but packs such a punch. The spice is not overwhelming. Perfect ratio of heat. Once u walk in you smell the deliciousness. All the food is right in front of you and you can see how clean and organize the establishment is being kept. I will continue to come here and keep trying as many new dishes as possible. Thank you for all ya do and thank you for being the best Jamaican food I've had in the longest. See ya soon. Below is 2 different plates. One is of salmon over a bead of rice and cabbage glazed in sauce and the other is of curry chicken over a bead of rice. Both where undeniably phenomenal. Stay safe and enjoy. Great job
