Historic route 101 has lots of good Mexican cuisine choices and this one checks all the delicious boxes. Plus, it's just steps away from the Tesla supercharger! Delicious, great decore, marvelous service, bargain prices and free parking. Come for the food, stay for the charging.
It seems like everybody working there was family. They worked well together to bring us a great experience, with great food and an even more amazing vibe I'd recommend this spot to anybody wanting a good meal and a drink.. My husband and I ordered Taco salads with a couple of zombie drinks from the cantina. The taco salads were amazing, we ordered them with extra carne. For the drinks a little heavy on the rum, but still very enjoyable.
The margaritas are excellent, the food is tasty and the service is fast and friendly. I've had a great experience here every time I go (which is often). There are several very good Mexican restaurants in this area, but this one is my go-to.

Their camarones Monterrey are superb , their steak del Rey tender and juicy . The owners/employees are amazing people to deal with. I highly recommend this place as an authentic Mexican atmosphere .
Always a super freaking awesome experience here!!! Employees are always smiling and constantly check on your needs and if it's your b'day,ohhhh gosh, they break out the sombrero and guitar and proceed to sing Happy birthday and a popper.....if your 21 that is!!!! Would give 6* if I could!!!

Nachos were good. Service was quick. But it's pricier than expected. Waitress wasn't overbearing, but did have a knack for approaching as soon as I shove nachos into my mouth disgracefully. Would go again.
Love the food and staff! We had drinks which had a higher bill. Normally around $30 for 2 is about average for us.
