Food is pretty darn good. This is the place that inspired my love of chili dogs that still continues, unabated, for the last decade and a half or so. Unabashedly, a small town bar, you know what you're kind of down-to-earth experience is happening here. If you like small town dining and hearty drink, Champs be yer port o' call! 🏴☠️

Even though I've lived in Coopersville for going on 9 years, I've only been to Champs 1 time other than today. I tell you, I have been missing out! My daughter and I decided to go there for lunch. We picked a table outside on their patio, which is cute, quaint and secluded. However, we were greeted immediately by our server who suggested we take a table indoors because of more than normal Bee's had been hanging around. That was super appreciated because I happen to be really allergic to them. Our server was the absolute best! She was energetic and fun! It was a slow time for the place and it was awesome to be able to chat with her. Personally, she is my kind of people which made our interactions even better! The entire service was quick and our food came out so fast, I had to give it a few minutes to cool. I ordered the fried mushrooms and my daughter got mozz sticks and the Reuben sandwich. Do I even have to say the food was delicious!? It was. If you haven't tried Champs Bar & Grill, I really can't recommend it enough. The service is incredible and the affordable food is amazing! You'll love the atmosphere! Trust me, I'm a former server and bar tender. ❤️🍺

Today's lunch for 4 of us was perfect. 2 philly quesadilla, pressed Cuban and a lake trout basket. OMG.... all of it was delicious.
Sat in the Back and our waitress was awesome. 5 star in every way!
Kenzy at the bar is absolutely phenomenal!!! I have been all around the country and let me tell you this woman is amazing, she deserves top dollar for her services at Champs bar & grill. Phenomenal to watch her in action today

I don't know why I see 1 star reviews. This is a very chill place and I'm glad it's local. Bartenders know what I want before I sit down and I'm never sitting with an empty glass regardless of how busy they are. Sometimes the pretty servers even treat me to a big hug. I say servers because one that hugs me is a dude. I'm a regular so don't expect that. Food is better than average and they haven't raised prices like everyone else.
They're going to be updating their menu soon and I'm looking Forward to it. As a big plus, they have a beautiful 7 foot tall blonde waitress to look at while you're hanging out.
Nice bar great atmosphere and good food. The staff is nice and friendly. Our server was attentive and welcoming.
