Going there for years when restaurant namesake used to run the store herself, restaurant have gone thru at least half a dozen ownerships since then, Famous Spicy Chicken sandwich is the best if you eat there , Aman style sandwiches are my 2nd fav. Rest of the items are hit or miss , recently they got a new chef who definitely know how to make NAAN ( Fresh Baker Flat Bread )
I used to come here over 10 yrs ago. They have expanded and revamped the establishment. Super cute now and food tastes even better. More diverse menu too. The Naan is delicious 😋 everything I've tried recently has been perfectly cooked. Good fast friendly service. Good prices too.
Food was delicious 10 out 10 will be returning. The reason I give them a 4 out of 5 is because they don’t serve alcohol.
My once a week stop love to eat here, reasonable prices friendly
Halal and vegeterian food 😋 love the butter chicken and the name with lentils and chai tea
Everyone there is great and welcoming
Give it a try they also have buffet on weekends 😋
Funny how I've never really noticed this hidden spot. We go to Leaf House a few stores down all the time and have passed this place tons. My husband suggested something new and he had lunch here one day so this is where we ended up.
Im always down to try out new places. It's a small Indian restaurant with simple decor. First off, I saw pani puri and freaked out because I can never find this anywhere!!! My Indian friend use to make pani puri for their parties and it was so fun to eat, very unique too. I love the cold chutney served inside the puri puffs.
Sam was our server and she was so nice and accommodating. We asked for suggestions on the menu items and she helped us with our selections. We ended up getting pani puri (of course), butter chicken, barbeque platter and garlic naan.
Pani puri hit the spot. Just as good as I remember it. Everyone's favorite was the butter chicken, it had good flavor and even more delicious when you dip the garlic naan in that sauce! Garlic naan was perfectly garlicky, the more garlic, the better. Barbeque platter was just ok, a lot of the meat was dry, not juicy at all. Other than that, we had a nice experience.
Looking at the reviews I guess obviously people have their own individual experiences I can only tell you about mine. I ordered the butter chicken, potato samosas and the goat brioni. Everything was delicious and I will be coming back here.
We enjoyed our meal here. Food was delicious and warm. And importantly a very clean restaurant. Don’t forget to have some tea after lunch. We loved their service - highly recommend if you have craving for indo-pakistani food.
The food got better in this place. Apparently under new management. It was one of my favorites Indian restaurants. I used to come here when it was smaller, and i recently visited them and i was happy their business grew because their food is amazing. Just be patient if you go and they are too full, it just tells you this is a growing local business.
Anyway, their chicken sandwich taste really good, i could eat a whole chicken like that 😂, but it is very spicy, not sure if they have a mild version of it, so if you cant tolerate really hot/spicy food be careful. My wife had the butter chicken, we loved it even more than before, it seems they changed their recipe. Cant wait to go back!
Desi food at it's best in Fort Lauderdale area. The weekwnd Buffett has good selection of items. Naan was baked fresh and Biryani was tasty.
