Great diner for the regulars. The chicken fried steak and eggs were one of the best we have had in all of Phoenix and surrounding area. Really good prices too.

Excellent food. Very prompt, efficient service. Ordered a chicken chimichanga, which was excellent, but I was surprised by how much it cost to add rice & beans on the side ($7.50). Still, I recommend this place for a pleasant casual dining experience.

First time 6 we loved it. It gets really busy really early, so be prepared. And rightfully so, the food is great, the staff is kind and the environment is cozy Everyone knows everybody. We had the chicken fried steak and eggs, and it was amazing. Will definitely be going back.

Absolutely loved this place! Great service and the good was awesome, with great prices. Went for breakfast and had the everything omelet, the hot sauce was so good they make there. The chicken fried steak was also really good, tried a bit if that as well. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu, and recommend it for sure.

Service was awesome and personable. Food came out super quick and tasted great. Hashbrowns were just a bit too greasy. Was a bit concerned with a few insects we saw while eating, but with it being summer in AZ we know they seek shelter as best they can from the heat. Overall though was a good experience and we will be back!

I love little places like this. It's like going to moms for breakfast. Lots of comfort food, well prepared. I'm not sure what the whiny crowd is expecting, so maybe they should stick with Starbucks and Whole Foods because places like this serve real food, not cauliflower mock-ups and $15 dollar coffees. The servers are not rude they just don't put up with pretentious food critics. I had the biscuit combo with bacon and a side of sausage. It was great. I loved it. My grandma could've done better but not by much and that's high praise in my book. If your going thru Coolidge, it's a must stop. I'm checking out the lunch menu today.

I was driving through Coolidge with my ex when he suggested that we eat breakfast at Tag's Cafe. I was hungry, so, of course, I said yes! One catch, "It is to be your treat," he said. He was helping me out by giving me a ride to Gilbert, so how could I refuse! Tag's Cafe is an unassuming eatery, one that you might pass by if you didn't know any better. Now I've only eaten there one time, and the one time was breakfast. So that is what I will speak to for now. But let me say it loud, that breakfast was downright, great! We were seated right away. The waitress was friendly and quick to bring the menus and our drink orders. After ordering, our food was out in no time, as well. My ex, Rick, and I each chose #6 from the menu, the breakfast special, which consisted of your choice of ham, bacon or sausage patties; served with 2 eggs, hashbrowns, and your choice of toast. He ordered iced tea and I ordered a rootbeer. When our order was up, it was brought out quickly! There were no bells or whistles, just plenty of great-tasting food! The eggs, over hard, we're spot on; the rye toast was buttered perfectly, clear to the edges; the hashbrowns were perfectly cooked; and the BACON was crispy; outstanding! Need I say more?!! I leave you with these words, Visit Tag's Cafe for breakfast soon. You will be glad you did. ❤️
