We stopped at Damascus for a quick bite on a trip and surely it was great !! The service was great and the staff here are really friendly. The menu is small and everything on it is great !! Do try the lamb kebabs. The house salad which they serve as a side is also quite tasty. Overall, it was a great experience we really enjoyed.
I saw a few reviews which mentioned that they did not have a restroom. I think they might be confused because it's not clearly marked out. But indeed there is a very clean restroom.

Wonderful and authentic food can be found here and to enjoy to the fullest. Well worth a visit. I had the shawarma combo with three sides. You also need to drink the Barbican Pomegranate soda.

Food was tasty. (There are no bathrooms.) Owner was friendly and accommodating. $25 for 2 people.

The shawarma was really good. I’ve eaten plenty of Dolmeh (grape leafs), if they were served hot it would’ve been better but I liked the spices. Fattoush salad was great and full of flavor, and hummus was just hummus! Customer service was perfect and prices were perfect!

Excellent food and deserts😍 we had the lamb kabab, falafel, with seasoned potatoes, hummus, fattoush (love this word😁) salad. Pasposa for desert. Barbican grape flavor to drink ❤

Great, very authentic Middle Eastern food. Very affordable as well. Was like $8 for falafel sandwich, salad, hummus and potatoes. The gentleman who prepared my food (who I'm assuming is the owner) even brought me a free hot tea unprompted to go with my meal. Would definitely eat there again.

I loved this place! It has a limited menu but what they have is sublime!! The gentleman running this is so sweet and he insisted we have some Turkish Tea. We have gone back several times for the food and the tea. It is a small restaurant that closes by 3pm. It seems he does more carry out than eat in, it only has like 4 tables. Don't pass it up!!!

Food was very good. My favorite was the oregano pie (a small round flat bread with olive oil and oregano). The restaurant is small and clean... (maybe 5 tables) and the man was friendly. You order at the counter from the menu on the wall and it is brought to your table.
