Hooligans Half Irish Pub

We stopped in the late afternoon on a Monday. The service was fast, friendly and our server Chezney was great. They have a very good selection of draft beers and a full bar. We had the Turkey Bacon Melt and the Irish Caribbean Melt, both were very good. Their fries were also very good. The only negative for us is that smoking is permitted.

Our waitress was fine. She checked up on us regularly. The food was fine but not great. Certainly not good enough to visit a second time. I don't know what the laws are in Tennessee but, over the last decade, I have gotten used to smoke free public venues. That was not the case here. The smoke was thick and hanging low inside the building. My buddy and I stunk by the time we left. An additional note, though not necessarily an issue, was that there was a guy dressed as the Easter Bunny going table to table. It seemed odd considering there were no children in the building, even if easter was the next day.
