My husband and I both had ribs that were very tender. The coleslaw was outstanding, very spicy!! The Mac and Cheese was super creamy. The baked beans were savory. The potato salad was good. All around enjoyable meal. We will be back. The rack of ribs can be overly tough at times.

First time back in many years after several moves. Much like I remembered other than in a new location. Pork barbecue was wonderful. My wife got the ribs and really enjoyed them. And the poolroom slaw is my favorite.

Coming from Michigan, the smoked then barbecued chicken was a real treat. The spicy coleslaw was also really amazing. The vinegar-based barbecue sauce was nice. Our server was really helpful and very pleasing.

Now I have 2 places that I like in Cookeville! The chicken was grilled to perfection and was moist and juicy, not dry. Vegetables were also great and their coconut pie is to die for. The coconut pie is actually the best I've ever had.

We drove from out of town, walked from the Train Museum to this place, because it was highly recommended. We were there around 4:00 pm, which is during their open hours, and it was closed. I understand the last day it will be open is April 23, but no explanation why it was closed today. We were pumped, only to be deflated. Good luck on your retirement. I hope health issues didn’t keep it from opening today.

I have been a customer to this restaurant since the opening and it had been one of my favorite places to go. I went a couple of times with the food not being so good and I thought it was just a fluke. Well sadly it is not. I went last night with my family and the service was very slow and when we did get our food it was terrible. The three of us ordered different things and everything we ordered was bad except the fruit tea! The cost was $50 and on top of that they charge you now to pay them. I am so sad but I will not be back😔

Went this afternoon and they closed early. Had my heart set on fried mustard fish. Hope to be able to have dinner there one more time before they close forever.
