Applebee's

I didn't even want to wait in the line, but the dollaritas were calling my name. The hostess however, was not. I didn't catch her name, I don't want to know her name, but we came in 2 nights in a row and that attitude and RBF never changed. No introduction, no wait time announced. Another customer behind us had to hunt down the manager to even address the entire crowd that had consumed the small lobby area. What changed our minds about this totally below 1 star review.... Armani. This man... should be in a higher position than what he is now. I understand what it's like, to get the bad end of the stick... but he handled all of this so well. His section overlapped more than half the restaurant the smile never left his face... being born and raised in MB I grew up around servers... and Armani... top line. Best of the best. Couldn't ask for a better one. Give this man a raise.. recognition... a sticker... something. He deserves better than what he was given tonight.

Came here for the Veteran's promotion. First, let me say, as a Vet, I appreciate any business willing to offer a free meal. I had the shrimp. It was pretty good, and service was nice. Clean dining area. Easy parking. Kind wait staff.

My wife and i went to dinner at Applebee's tonight. It was a mad house. We weren't going to stay at first due to l craziness however our waitress was so incredibly sweet and helpful. She introduced herself as Jess. The poor girl had the patients of a Saint! Every table she had was full and we could clearly see that a couple of her tables were running her all over the place but she did it with a smile the whole time. She took the time to tell us about the drink special and holidays meals. She brought us our food within a timely manner. I ordered the bourbon street chicken and shrimp with mashed potatoes and the wife ordered broccoli Alfredo and it was all excellent! What I did not like was the thug gangster music blasting from the kitchen and how unhelpful and lazy the hosts were. They already don't have that much of a job to perform so those servers shouldn't have to worry about having dirty tables and there shouldn'tbe a line forming at the front door especially with 2 hosts working and having empty clean tables that can be sat with other customers. I didn't see a lot of team work out of the manager either. I seen our server trying to clean her own tables, take orders, delivere food, and drinks while rushing to the next table while there's a big line forming and one host has disappeared completely and the others standing around laughing and talking with other Co workers when they COULD have been HELPING clean tables or seat some of the line forming at the front door. But our server handled it like a pro. We will certainly be going back and requesting her as our waitress. Aside vein the minor things we disliked I would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a good evening with good food and and fair pricing.

This is one of our favorite places to eat, especially during tourist season. For some reason it's mostly locals and you can usually get a table fairly quickly. The staff is always friendly and attentive, and the food is great and always prepared well. We've never had a bad experience here and the atmosphere is comforting. In the summer it's dim and cool, and perfect for escaping the heat and humidity for awhile. And somehow it's just as cozy to escape to on those windy winter days as well! If we're going downtown for errands and shopping, this is one of our favorite places to stop for lunch!

It has been a while since we have been so definitely want to say We went to Applebee's yesterday early evening. I must say Everything was on point. Pretzels were perfect, not over nuked and tough. Hubs Ribs were so tender and tasty. My Chicken & Shrimp were really good. The Mashed Potatoes oh my goodness were amazing, the Dessert was delicious. And.... The Service was absolutely perfect. Armani was a perfect gentleman and kept glasses full, empty plates pulled, He was attentive but not overbearing. I know it can't be perfect all the time but it sure was amazing yesterday... ❤️
