We were there on a Friday evening and they could seat our table of 4 without a reservation which was nice. Craft beer selection is very good. Service was friendly but very slow (as is pretty typical these days). A couple mistakes were made but the server made it right which was cool. Everyone said their food was OK but not great. I had the Cobb Salad which was very average. Deviled eggs in there are awesome but not enough of the other stuff... definitely needed way more bacon! Could see giving it another shot but not at the top of my list.

I'm actually just going to go ahead and give this place 5 stars, even though I have not enjoyed the night life there. My servers really sold it, Brit was training Garrett, and both were very spot on. The food was also very good, well seasoned, large portions, and not overpriced. Pretty extensive cocktail, liquor and wine list. I am not sure but I think the shrimp and grits had a giant hush puppy in the middle, and I appreciated that they used stone mill grits. Burger was cooked perfectly and to be honest, if a Steven Starr restaurant offered tots I'd get them. Only thing I'd change would be the large amount of burrata on the fried green tomatoes.

This was my first time here and I would for sure come back when I visit Philly again! The steak and egg special was amazing and cooked just the way I asked. My server Brittany was very nice and helpful making my experience the best. The mimosas were awesome with the variety of flavors! I highly recommend plus the atmosphere and decor was gorgeous!!

We had the honor of hosting our 5-Year Anniversary party at Southern Cross Kitchen this month. For starters, everything was perfect! Kevin Markee made sure to accommodate for everything that we had envisioned for the night. We were first greeted by the wonderful hostess’s downstairs and directed to head upstairs. Upstairs was decorated beautifully and was the perfect size to host our party of about 50 people. The food was amazing, and staff constantly made sure to refill trays when they were getting low. The bartenders were very friendly and quick. We were even offered live music by soloist, Alex, who was amazing and really set the ambiance in the room. It was truly an awesome night, and we are very happy that we were able to support a fellow Woman Owned Business while celebrating our 5-Year Anniversary, we can’t wait to visit again in the future!
