Star Cinema Grill

I love the concept of eating while you watch a movie, however won’t be going back. Drink order was completely forgotten by our first server. When a second one came by it still about 15 minutes to get to us. It was not that busy and there were at least 6 servers besides the bartender for 4 theaters… I think it was 4? $15 for 8 chicken wings, sorry that’s that just too steep. Seats themselves were pretty comfortable, reclined pretty far, and the food trays were large. So many theaters offer food; though may not be a wide variety as Star Cinema’s, I’ll just eat before you or after the movie. Drinks were also quite pricey. Sound quality was good, not so much on picture quality.

My husband and I just went to the movies here and it was a great experience. It has actually been about three years since we went and Top Gun Maverick was the first movie in a long time that we wanted to see…it was awesome! The theater was clean and the seats were so comfortable. I noticed comments about the price of food…I understand that it can be pricey for a family, however, what we ordered was delicious and the portions were large. With the exception of the ticket prices, it is usually what we spend when we go out to eat.

I don't usually go to the theater anymore because the prices at theaters are crazy high. Since it's been a while, my family and I decided to try this one and see if things may be a bit different. The theater was nice and very well kept. If I knew the screen would be so far away, I probably would've gotten closer seats. As expected, the movie was still enjoyable to see in theaters but sadly the prices have not changed. In fact, they've gotten worse. My wife, my son and I got three appetizers and 3 drinks. With our tickets, in total, it cost $98 dollars with a $5 tip included to one meal being late for my son. Regretfully, I probably will avoid theaters at all cost from now on because of this place. $100 to enjoy a flix is just crazy! It's sad to think that the theater world is truly coming to an end. Per all my friends and family, they all tell me they don't go to the theaters anymore because it's just not worth the price. As a true long lived theater guy, I must respectfully agree.

I took my grandson to see a movie the week before Thanksgiving. First time in three years so I expected the prices to have gone up. The price for the movie wasn't too bad. Under $10. What shocked me was the price of food. That was crazy high. I paid $6 for a regular small bag of M&M's. And $6 for a drink. However, the seats reclined and we're comfy. The place is really clean and lobby and bathrooms were nicely decorated. We really enjoyed being together. You order your food, drinks to be brought to your seats. Very nice experience. The menu has some good choices. The staff was very friendly. Def will do again when better prepared and able. They have a full for adult beverages too.

It is a little larger than I thought. The online payment and seat selection were easy and convenient. The seats were comfortable, I recommend a small pillow and blanket to complete the experience. The food options are plenty and the names are fun and entertaining I will happily come back to this establishment.

The concept is awesome of having dinner and drinks while you eat. We arrived 45 minutes before movie started. However, management needs to work on organization of staff and what they are doing. Very disorganized! The drinks did not come together. My husband didn’t get his drink until he was finished eating. We asked multiple times for his drink. The last time the girl said oh you have to push this button. I said No we have done that multiple times to no avail. I said you need to go tell someone. It still took awhile but finally he received his drink. We did not receive our appetizers until half way through our meal. Honestly, I don’t think we saw the same waiter twice. It was so confusing. The staff is not even familiar with where the seats our. Several times they tried to give us someone else’s food. We did enjoy the movie Top Gun. We will go eat first and go to a regular theater.

Just left the theater. Seats were great, food was delicious. However, our server Aaliyah was extremely slow! She took a solid 5-10 minutes to respond to our call button, I couldn’t hear a single thing she said. The cup I first got was busted at the bottom and she had an attitude about having to get me a new one and didn’t offer to get me extra napkins for the inch of soda in my cup holder. After about 30 minutes we finally got our chips and dip, shortly after we asked for extra chips to which she responded “let me go see” It wasn’t until the servers were bringing out tickets(about 45 minutes later) that we saw her walk in and turn around again because she forgot our chips. We finally got our chips with our ticket. I understand being understaffed…but there were chips!!!!!

So awful. Came with a family of 5, ordered all the food before the movie started. Was handed the bill before 3 of us even got the food…like maybe we wanted desert, or another drink? Anyway, two of us got our food at a decent time, 2 others got it over half way through the movie and my 5 year old daughter never got her kids burger after asking for it 3 different times. Never got napkins, straws etc. anyway not great :/
