Silver Shores

A great experience! 1st visit to this established restaurant and bar. We arrived on a busy night to get the last remaining parking spot and the dining room was full but we found 2 stools in a cozy corner of the bar. The menu was basic but the food was prepared exemplary. The bartender who served us was pleasant, available as needed and never rushed us. She graciously checked back on us several times. Excellent, bottomless fresh brewed iced tea, food served on warmed plates and an excellent view out the window to the lake. My friend ordered the potato soup which was thick and chunky with uniquely shredded potatoes. I ordered the cod sandwich and my only complaint might be the ratio of fish to bread. The bread was deliciously fresh and warm but it overwhelmed the small amount of perfectly cooked fish. Also, I believe that the menu stated all sandwiches are served with lettuce, tomato and something else but I only received a wilted piece of lettuce. The coleslaw was excellent and not overly sweet, which I do not like, and the chunky tartar sauce was totally delicious! We were allowed to sit and enjoy our after meal conversation without being rushed out. I would like to return in the summer to enjoy the lake view and more of the enticing menu items.

This place is so wonderful! My husband ordered the swordfish that was on special, it was done to perfection! I ordered the Cajun chicken and sausage linguine, it was delicious! The loaded nachos were the best nachos we have ever ordered in any restaurant. And the coconut cream pie is out of this world! Our server was excellent, the owner was pleasant. All around great experience and we will be returning.

I’d go just for the views 😍🙌 Absolutely stunning views and pretty good food! Went with a wedding party and we had such a nice time! The steak was a little tough, BUT you should definitely try the pasta 🍝 it was super delicious 😋 For the big party that we had service was fast and attentive! Honestly, no complaints! 🤩

Silver shores is by far my favorite place to hangout and grab a bite to eat. Rob and the staff are amazing and always go above and beyond. Food and drinks are great I wish I could give more than 5 stars. When you stop in, get the French onion soup! Best in PA and as you can see my friend Josh and I love it! It’s a must to go check out silver shores!

Today I dined there with a friend whom has never been there before. Of course we had a lovely view of the lake. Our waitress was Kelly and she was attentive and very friendly. I had the Vegetable Primavera; French Onion soup, and Coconut Cream pie. My friend had an extraordinary salad; Cheddar cheese Cod, and also same pie. We had a very relaxed and enjoyable time...for two newly retired ladies!

Nice looking restaurant. Folks were friendly, Some servers weren't wearing masks. Hubby had a burger which he was happy with along with shrimp bisque and it was good. I was disappointed in my fish sandwich, lots of batter but very little fish in it. It was fried a little extra crunchy from my liking.

After waiting 2.5 hours for a table, this was the asiago chicken that I was served. Completely and totally underwhelmed. If canned chicken got together and made a breast, it would be this. It tasted weird, it smelled worse. I rarely hate a meal. But, I hated this. Service was fine, ambiance was mediocre, and food left more to the imagination than it did in reality. 2 stars, don't recommend, won't return.
