Amazing food for a small town bar great drinks and super nice people. Highly recommend
I have enjoyed Irish music many a year at Conklin Bar. While I don’t get that anymore the food and atmosphere still draws me back. Food has only gotten better in recent visits.
Fun local bar with a small menu, stiff drinks & friendly bar tenders!
If you want true Irish fun. Get you "Paddy's" here. Good food and great service!
When we´re in MI for the summer, this is a constant stop for us. Friendly staff, and locals. Food is good and reaaonable also!
Love the old school atmosphere. Friendly staff. Doesn't quite have the same Irish pub feel it once had. Great spot for a drink after riding the bike trail.
Stopped in on one of my Bikepacking trips for a burger and I don't think I'll be able to skip town anymore. I'm always looking for good food stop when I'm traveling and if you're lucky enough to be on route I'll stop. I've came across some junk and then there's gold in the corn fields. The best food comes from the small towns I've come to the conclusion.
The food was great. Employees in the bar are awesome. Customers are great and fun to chat with!!
Fantastic time!!
Burger was delish, but very messy!
I remember when I was too young to go to school that I went to the Conklin Bar, although it was called Bob's Tavern I believe. I would go with my great Uncle Rob to get feed ground for our cattle across the street at (Sam) Dykstra's elevator. As we waited we would go to the bar. Uncle Rob would have a beer or two, with just a pinch of salt added, and I would have an orange pop. We always sat in one of the high backed booths on the north side of the bar right across from where the beer and spirits were served. Such a grand time and the memories are priceless. Would love to relive those times, but, the memories are what's left.
