Sally Ann Food Shop

My husband and I went to the bakery at 6:30am on Friday on 5/14 since the hours listed said that store would be open then. The doors were locked but there was an employee walking around. We decided to wait a bit and the store opened roughly 10 minutes late. When the store opened, the employee just unlocked the door and walked away though she could very obviously see us. When we walked in, she just glared. When we asked what was available she said that there was leftovers from yesterday. We took the day old pastries just to get out. The pastries were okay, but weren't worth the rude employee and poorly run atmosphere. If you want muffins, you'd be better off at market basket.

I had one of their bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwiches and a coffee halfway through my long bike ride. The price was higher than your run-of-the-mill sandwich but it is an excellent value. Two eggs, bacon, on their very good grilled bread. A filling meal! They were very busy Saturday morning but I had called in my order. There was a line and service was slow but their card machine had died and one of the staff had to run out for more cash so it was unusual circumstances. Good virus safety and good coffee.
