This is an institution for downtown Concord. The fries are always perfect. You could close your eyes and point at something good on the menu. My kids love eating here too. I usually go for the hot link myself. The owners are the nicest people too. It always clean here and a nice vibe.

Best suggestion... go to Weinersnitzel. The hot dogs are better for a lot cheaper. 60bucks for a family of three to eat hotdogs. Customer service was a bit spotty as well.

I haven't been in awhile so I i decoded to stop by. I ordered a hot dog, fries, and a fountain drink. The total was around $13. The lady making my hotdog and fries had a super gross apron on and kept putting her hands in the pockets and then touching myy food. They also texted on their phones as my food was being made and proceeded to touch it with bare hands after. It was horribly unsanitary. The fountain drink was out of order I guess and the lady bent down with my cup and proceeded to fill it with cans of soda, that tastes like its been sitting for years. The fries we're already in dirty frier-baskets, stacked on top of each other! The fries are so greasy it seeped through the entire bag. The whole experience just grossed me out. I didn't want to be that person and ask for a refund...but I didn't eat the food and threw it away. A waste of time and money.

This place has been a Concord gem for many years. Consistently delicious Chicago style dog. Fries are tasty too.

Excellent fries - always fresh. I love their hot pastrami, and excellent hamburgers too. Hot Dog Palace is my favorite old fashioned burger joint in Concord.

There is no reason for this place to have 4 stars. I have had better hot dogs at the airport. Bottom line, the Chicago dog had the wrong relish and was missing the sport peppers and celery salt. By definition it is no longer considered a Chicago dog at this point. As for the dog, a mushy bland link that had no flavor. Lame. Find another place to get your dog fix.

My favorite is the Polish hot dog. Defintely by a wide mile. It's got just the right amount of heat/spice. Don't put sauerkraut on it or you'll cool it off.

They put a great hot dog together. Closed the last couple of times I went there. I hope they will be open soon as the curve begins to flatten.
