This is a fantastic quick food fix for chicken with a Mexican flare. Love all the sides and the salad too. Very friendly staff and always ready to help you. Great for take out...easy on line orders.

The folks who work here are always patient, polite, and prompt.

When inside the store to order my food, the cashier ask me for my vaccine card if I will be dining here, I said yes. For me that's good because they're following the protocol of the county.

EAT HERE, NOT PITTSBURG!!!! Went here today after a horrible unsatisfying experience at their Pittsburg location yesterday. The employees here are so nice and the food is always good, never any problems unlike the Pittsburg location where I wouldnt recommend anyone go to, due to horrible food and low quality lazy employees. In Concord their machines actually work to sync with Pollo Loco app for points. They gave me 5x sauce sides with no complaining on a $5 order, unlike the Pittsburg location that only gives 3 sides on a $24 order, and in Concord their sauce cups are almost 100% full, unlike pittsburg at about 25% full. Ill continue to eat here and boycott the Pittsburg location at all costs, iwpuls drive the extra 20 minutes to Concors for quality service and food vs Pittsburg's let down of a location.

I'd been getting food here for about 16 years and had received good customer service for the most part until late August 2021. They've had this convenient ordering system on their app and I used it one Sunday afternoon to order some food for the family.
I got into my car to pick up the food but then my car wouldn't start. Called my insurance to have somebody sent over, was notified the wait would be over an hour. I called El Pollo Loco up to cancel my order since I don't know if the problem with my car is with the battery or alternator. I had to assume to worse of the two. I was told that the order was canceled.
I followed up after 3 days since the charge was still on my card and was told that it takes about 5 business days to reverse the charge. After 2 1/2 weeks and 2 more phone calls the charge was still there. I had to call my credit card company to have the amounts charged back. Be careful when you use their ordering system. The customer service is disappointing and everything just seemed dishonest especially after patronizing the place for 16 years.

I've mentioned before that I have extra criteria for the fifth star. I really don't like to give the fifth star for fast food chains or if I feel the experience was over priced a bit. In our house, El Pollo Loco is a favorite. Prices are a little on the high side for fast food but the quality and quantity of chicken is there. Every visit they deliver on a fresh quality meal. So far, every experience we have had is positive. I hope your experience is the same.
