New Hong Kong

The steamed dumpling were a great starter but it stops there. My husband and I were so excited to try this place based on reviews and recommendations but sad to say we were left disappointed. The Mongolian shrimp was totally lacking in taste, very watery and too many onions. The tangerine beef had appeal on the menu but reminded us of a typical food court dish....way too much breading/dredging prior to cooking...seems like very little care went into the preparation. The boneless rib combo was average in taste....have gotten better elsewhere. Overall, for the quality of food the cost was way too high. We could have gone to the mall food court for a lot less and same, maybe slightly better, quality of food . Unfortunately we cannot recommend this place.

Wonton soup review . Broth was bland no real taste (added pepper which made it better ). Wonton meat was tasty had a decent season to it .Wonton noodle was not dry and hard. Came with the big noodle chips pair it with some white rice is was a decent little lunch. All in all not terrible but not the best.

TLDR: New Hong Kong is a great restaurant to chinese take-out. New Hong Kong is a family operated establishment with excellent customer service, deliciously prepared meals, as well as a menu priced low to fair. Meaning it's very affordable. The restaurant is very clean. I come often for the lunch, and dinner combos. Food is prepared in a quick, and timely manner. They don't offer their own delivering service unfortunately, and I refuse to use delievry apps. However New Hong Kong does offer take out which is great. The restaurant is located near an intersection, so its easy to drive right up, and go inside. Roomy parking in the front, as well as parking lot in the rear. They are a business I am more than happy to support.
