Huddle House

I was treated for My Birthday at Huddle House last Week. It wouldn't be on My list of Restaurants to Celebrate My Birthday if I treated Myself because of the 3 Stars. I never ate there before. It was 10 of Us in our Party. There was one waitress and one cook. We placed our orders. It took almost an Hour for our food to arrive. The Cook was sitting down at a table on his phone while we WAITED for him to COOK our Food. Once He got started, He was slowing around like He didn't know what He was doing. Some of Us was still Hungry after We ate. I could've got My Money's worth elsewhere. We had to ask for silverware and Napkins I would've gave it 2 stars, but My Burger and Fries was good even though it wasn't Much. I rather go to Waffle House.

The food was cooked properly. The waitress was busy doing everything else but taking care of the customers. The bathrooms are not clean. The last time we went to the Huddle House the food was ok but they we're short on help causing long wait time for our meals. We loved to eat there. But the staff isn't what it was 2 months ago.

Very pleasant and friendly waitress. Cook got order wrong and had to wait quite a while for order, she didn't wear hair net or hat? Our waitress was also cashier, cook, table cleaner. They where very few customers there. Most tables were empty. I was recognized on entering as a repeat customer. Our young waitress was apologetic and gave a discount. Bless her heart. It will be a time before returning even though I enjoyed breakfast there often before.

I ordered a sausage biscuit and a waffle. The sausage on the biscuit tasted artificial. The biscuit was pretty good. The waffle was dry and only came with one syrup. It was only one cook and one waitress and the process to cook the food was a tad bit slow. I rate this place 3 stars 1 star for the food and 2 stars for the cleanliness of the restaurant.

Worst dining experience I've had in years! Tables were dirty,service was lackluster and the food was horrible! Eggs were cold when brought to table and swimming in some oil and water combination! My girlfriend and I couldn't eat the food asked to speak to the manager and found out it was the manager that was cooking! Went ahead and paid for food we didn't eat and walked out! Will NEVER eat at that location again!!

Decided to take the wife and and kid out to huddle house. Horrible mistake. Server took 5 minutes to get to our table. Made our order then sat. For 30 minutes and had no refills no nothing. The cook come over and after 30min and asked what we had ordered and they never put it in. There is one other table here. Finally got refills and got tea instead of my soda. The cooks did great in trying to make everything up. But still. 45 min and no food. I guess Cracker Barrel has my business now.
