Completely different experience when you order to go vs. in-house. I asked, repeatedly, for brown gravy and no country gravy because I don't eat pork. What comes slathered on my chicken? Country gravy. I scraped the gravy off because I'm so hungry. All the sides were so small, like 1/4 filled in their cups. Very cheap. And no biscuits or corn muffins provided in the bag.

The food was excellent and our server was awesome. She said her name was Ty, (Tysha) She picked up every plate as soon as it was empty, kept our coffee cups full and always had a beautiful smile on her face. She was so pleasant. I could have hung out with her all day. My husband and I hope to come back again, just so we can eat the great food and see her.

Stopped by here and the service was fantastic and fast! We were never left without refills and we were checked on several times by our server and even the manager. Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Would definitely eat here again.

Food was great! People in gift shop were super helpful finding a shirt in the back we saw on the mannequin. Only slight disappointment was after asking the waitress if grits could be substituted she said yes for an upcharge, but then when I ordered she didn't even mention it and gave me grits which I previously said I didn't like. I know that seems stupid, but it was a bit lacking professionalism she didn't remember the comment I made less than 2 minutes earlier, and didn't make any effort to offer me something else. I was a server for 13 years and I always made sure my customers were happy and knew all their options.

Had a delightful dinner there tonight. My server, Cody, is one of the best servers I've had in years. Friendly, attentive, and professional. Never had to wait for drink refills or for anything to be cleared. He even brought a double helping when my friend requested some extra gravy. I'll definitely be back soon.

This is the third time I have ordered from cracker barrel and I've gotten the same thing each time. I got the meatloaf. This time I got the combo which includes the chicken & dumplings and the sugar glazed ham (which I shared with my dog only because I do not like ham and he eats with me). But the meatloaf is out of this world and I can't get enough! It's baked with the ketchup instead of brown gravy which is how I prefer. The mashed potatoes with sawmill gravy (or white flour gravy) which is also what I prefer and a veggie, is what hits the spot. So, cracker barrel, do not change anything about your recipes, because I would like to stay a satisfied customer! One thing, it would be nice to try some cabbage rolls..... Just sayin!

Went here with my girlfriend and we both ordered a sirloin steak meal, medium rare. Both steaks came out bloodier than when they were still on the cow and were flavorless. Never got a refill on drinks. Felt ushered out of the restaurant. The restaurant was at most a quarter full so not very busy. Tried to make a complaint about our less than satisfactory meal at the front counter and instead of even offering a simple apology we were asked "oh. How about M&Ms. 3 for $4". I don't think trying to sell us candy was a good consolation for feeling like we wasted $40. Our server was nice however.

This place has really gone down hill. I work in the food industry and I would have been fired if I had given service or sent out food like I received today. Cracker barrel has always had the worse service of any restaurant but the food is usually decent. Today was the worse only saw my server once, never saw a Manger and had to pay for inedible food because no one would come by so I could dispute my ticket.

My dad, brother and sister in law and I had lunch Friday the 11th of November. We arrived at 11:00 am and the line was already forming. Like others had stated, there were many empty tables, several of which had not been bused yet. And we had to wait to be seated. The servers were working diligently and no one seemed to be slacking. Once seated, we were acknowledged by our server and she was very friendly and attentive. From the time we ordered it took about 45 min to get our food. In the entire scheme of things way to long. However, our server was regularly checking on us, refreshing our drinks and being very positive. When our food arrived it was as ordered, hot, and very good. So the service, food and follow up was 5 star. The wait time for table and food was not. Had we been on a lunch break from work that wouldn't have been acceptable. But we weren't and it afforded us additional time to have a great conversation. All In all, it would appear they need to schedule or hire more employees, whichever may be the case. We will be back.

I can't believe how bad and down hill this place have been. I have had 2 horrible experiences here in the past month. I will not be back. The service was absolutely discussing and they were very unfriendly and dang at least the waitress could have at least smiled. They looked at my empty cup and asked if we need a refill. Really we just got our food what are we gonna eat with no drink. I don't see this place being open much longer if the service and the hospitality doesn't improve a lot.

We had Thanksgiving lunch there and the dressing was horrible and sweet potato casserole tasted bad too. Bread was cold and the butter wouldn't even melt on it. We won't be having our Thanksgiving meal there again. Normal we enjoy the food, but very disappointing in the taste of our food.

Currently at the restaurant and I am appalled by the service we received tonight. We had a large party...about 25. We didn't sit together. We were broken down into smaller groups (so we can't use that as an excuse). Food orders were wrong, food was cold, hair in food, one table of 4 didn't get their order for over 1.5 hours. When the manager finally came he was rude, and made it a point to remind us that he doesn't give out free food. He attempted to chastise the patron that had hair in his food. We didn't want free food, we wanted good food. We ONLY wanted what we assumed we were paying our hard-earned money for...I will NEVER be back.

Was in Columbus yesterday on business and decided to have breakfast here. I was greeted as I walked in the door and seated promptly. My waitress was very friendly and attentive and the food was brought out to me in a timely manner. Also my breakfast was delicious. I had the pancakes with warm bottle of maple syrup, turkey sausage and egg beaters. Very satisfied. Thank you!

Horrible service!! We have gave them several chances but this was our last. There were not many people there at all. It took our waitress forever to come take our order, 15 minutes to get our drinks, and my grandmother ordered chicken but got fish! I have always loved Cracker Barrel but I wouldn't recommend anyone going to this one!

Awfully slow service tonight, was not given bread, it took 10 minutes just to find out what kind of soup was available, and by the time we were offered bread, we were finished with our meal......food was luke warm... Not offered condiments for burger....

It was terrible. We waited over an hour to get our food our drinks were warm, never got checked on, and the food tasted bad. Just not a good experience.

A friends daughter recently applied for a job there and was told she had to within 30 days of being 18. Corporate policy says they hire at 16. I would never have suspected Cracker Barrel of age discrimination, yet it seems it happens in Columbus.

Wasn't very crowded and it took forever to get food out after we ordered. We were a table of 8 and we got 3 meals out pretty quick but the other 5 took another 15 minutes. I hate to sit and eat while the rest of the party watches.
