This is my favorite breakfast spot in the Columbus, GA area. Whether we get it to go or dine-in the food is always fresh and tasty. You can tell the chef put a lot of thought into the quality of ingredients being used in every recipe! I love it here.

I don’t normally write reviews but this place is so good, I had to. I had the Traditional Breakfast (see photos). First I was pleasantly surprised that I was served up an entire pot of coffee as standard procedure (see photo)! Also, an entire carafe of cold water. With the name “First Watch, this must be headed up by a fellow veteran - military vets just do things right! My breakfast was outstanding (see photos). Bread seemed like it was fresh made this morning - yummy preserves served in side cup. Bacon was meat and just enough fat. Eggs were perfect. Potatoes were fresh and seasoned correctly. Jennifer, whom served me was excellent- what a great smile : ) I am definitely coming back to try some of the unusual items on the menu. Best breakfast and service in Columbus! Thank you First Watch!

The only good things I will say about First Watch is...The waitress was a sweetheart and the watermelon wake up and bacon were delicious. The rest of my food was not was worth the $50+ spent. I was asked how I wanted my eggs cooked and I replied scrambled over easy...They came out way overcooked both times. I even tried mixing them in with my cheese grits but it didn't help at all. The worst was at the end, the cashier was rude and lacked customer service skills. All in all it's a NO for me. I will not be be returning.

First time every going here. Husband was very pleased with the crab cake Benedict and poached egg that had Sriracha sauce. The “artisan toast” was what I got most excited about. It was the best toast I have ever had in my life. Reminded me of a whole grain bread toast my grandma used to have that was so good. I’m so glad we tried this place!

Busy breakfast/ lunch spot. Even though we had reservation, still had to wait for a table. The food was good, though the trailblazer bowl that I ordered was lacking some kind of sauce, would be nice if they offered some on the side. I came in very hungry and left still a bit hungry.

My son and I love coming here for a brunch date on Sundays. They're normally extremely busy so there will be wait times (we normally wait 30-54 mins in our car, they text when a table is ready). The food is high quality (thus a little on the pricy side) and very enjoyable. The Purple Haze drink is our favorite. I normally have one of the Benedict's but opted for the Farmhouse Hash this time. It was very good and filling. The million dollar bacon was very good as well. I highly recommend this place if you don't mind a wait.

Finally got here when it wasn't packed (Monday at 10). Early breakfast and Lunch times usually have a wait time and I highly recommend you should check in online to reserve a spot before getting here. We got seated quickly and server was super sweet and attentive. They have a great kids menu - half waffle, chocolate chip pancake, french toast, etc. (They even give you a warm syrup bottle). I usually gravitate to the seasonal menu but chose a healthier option from the regular menu. I got the Fritata Rústica omelet and it was amazing. My kids got the chocolate chip pancake (which is huge) and french toast from the kid's menu. Usually they come with butter on top but my kids don't like it, so we opt out.

Always have a good experience when I come here. The food is delicious and the space is clean with a nice farmhouse styled charm. The restaurant can get very crowded and the space seems a little too tight to accommodate such large crowds. Expect to wait some days, especially on Sundays.
