I ordered steak tacos (onion on the side, no cilantro) and birria (same), which came with consomé. The food it absolutely delicious. I had a super short wait and just sat in the restaurant while I waited. I didn't order them (which is why I went originally, oops) but just so people know since I know they're hard to find sometimes; they have chicken tamales with green sauce and pork tamales with red. I will be going back again. Absolutely delicious. Excuse my not beautiful photos (bad lighting AND I was already eating things, haha) but it's SO flavorful. One of the best birria I've had.

This place is amazing, I’d go as far to say that it is the best Mexican cuisine I’ve had 😃 plus it’s a small business owned and ran by a family! I had the birria quesadilla, it was mouthwatering good. We also had loaded fries with barbacoa and you can tell that all of the ingredients are prepared even to the smallest of details! Staff is friendly, food is amazing— come support a small family ran business in the community and enjoy some tasty bites 😊

Discovered Tacos Don Deme shortly after they opened when a random IG Reel of theirs had me nearly drooling on my phone. Have been back a dozen times since. They already belong in the discussion for best all-around taqueria in Columbus -- right up there with Super Torta, Los Guachos, Tula, etc. Star of the show is obviously their quesabirria tacos. The tacos are fried perfectly on the flattop and smothered in melted cheese. The beef is tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The consomé....oh my the consomé. I'm not embarrassed to say I've actually drank the remaining portion of it when we were finished dipping our tacos -- it's that good. Quesadillas are very good too, as are many of their more standard taco offerings. The castillos en salsa verde were fantastic -- perfectly done and swimming in a delectable sauce. Solid drink choices with a pretty solid horchata, handful of Jarritos, aguas fresca, etc. Coffee is surprisingly very good and quite strong. Staff is always very friendly & welcoming, and the kitchen churns the food out very quickly. If it's your first time, recommend ordering the quesabirria plate (3 tacos + consomé) and a side of the choriqueso. You won't be disappointed.

Small hole in the wall place, but fantastic food and service. Queso Birria tacos were outstanding, the Birria Burrito was huge and very tasty. Steak Fajitas with Chorizo was served on the hottest cast iron plata that I've ever seen and was incredibly flavorful, with each tortilla grilled and buttered as well! We had an appetizer of fries covered in queso, onions and pastor that was great and very reasonably priced, though somewhat messy to eat. We'll definitely come again and bring friends!
