Donovan's Pub

Dated but quaint establishment for fun and spirits. Very affordable prices on both food and spirits. It will not leave your wallet too light. I even bought rounds for everyone (not busy when I arrived but got busy shortly after), yes it was that affordable! Small food menu choices. Food was quite delicious, at least mine was and depends on who is cooking it for you perhaps? I had a generous size cheeseburger and home fries plate, simple bar food expectations. Bar operator and visiting patrons were friendly as well as sociable. Food (limited), Spirits (no premium shelf, RE: Woodford Single Barrel Tap, small batch and no beers on tap) were good and better than expected. One might stereotype this bar a "hole in the wall", I beg to differ. I would rather call this my, "diamond in the rough". Nonetheless, I enjoy visiting these style pubs for a quick bite to eat paired with spirits to quench my thirst. Place (and bathroom) was clean for the most part considering how small and cluttered. There's music to listen to, entertainment came from the fellow customers...they were fun and friendly to talk with 😁 This place is not much to look at and may appear deserted and unappealing from the outside but as the saying goes, "Do not judge a book by it's cover". I look forward to coming back (with or without friends) after only visiting once! My overall experience was a fantastic one and I will be visiting again soon. I do recommend this establishment to others (ones that do not judge on appearance alone and see it for much more than cosmetic) to visit and experience. Cheers and Godspeed to everyone!
