Steak 'n Shake

Just wow is all I can say. The cleanest, neatest and most true to its name Steak and Shake I have gotten food from. COVID changed many things in the world and that includes who makes your food and how much they care but this place was simply excellent 👌. Not only was it clean and neat but the staff put me in a better mood and when I made a mistake ordering both regular and sauteed onions on my Double Garlic burger through the Kiosk there were no worries the Staff member at the counter was friendly even calling out to me, "Need anything else brother," with a big smile and patience stance. Dude please use this store as an example and please consider increasing their yearly rate of pay because these employees are quality people. Fast food is convenient but it should in fact be delicious and taste great and this place holds that to truth. Little theatrical for a fast food review but places everywhere have suffered in quality and compassion so it needs to be called out when things are great. Thanks for feeding our family and being so polite in a world that has less of that than it used to. 5 out of 5!!

It’s been a long time since I’ve dined in at a Steak ‘n Shake. Since COVID, I always go through the drive but I’m so glad I decided to give it a shot. While it’s a completely different experience than it used to be (no servers, no hostess) it was a pleasant one. The kiosks were clean and easy to use. The person handing out food announced orders over a speaker system which made it impossible to not hear your order called, and the food was good. The one person I interacted with who was pushing out the orders was very kind and helpful you could he was working really hard to make sure it was a good experience. It wasn’t busy, despite being lunch time on a Saturday, but there was a steady stream of families coming in the door. Really appreciate this restaurant innovating to meet the needs of their customers during COVID with online ordering, etc. and I think this new model is a step up from that. It’ll never be the same, but that doesn’t have to be a bad thing. All credit to the employees who can make or break a dining experience.

I wanted to take the time to post this review today. I stopped at this location to get something to eat and the young lady that took my order was sooo sweet. When I reached the window She caught my eye because of her absence of hair. I assumed she mite be going through something and I did not want to be too forward and ask but what impressed me the most is that regardless of what is goi g one in her life she blessed me with amazing customer service, kindness and the most beautiful smile I have seen in a while. Thank you for that you made my day brighter….

I wish I had taken photos. It was the cleanest "Steak n Shake" I'd ever stepped into. The kiosks to order were a smart move as it has clearly freed up the staff to provide excellent customer service. Even though it was self ordered, the staff was helpful in resolving confusion associated with self ordering and managed to provide our family with the meal we expected. I always preach about good customer service, and it's been a long time since we had such a positive experience at any restaurant. Take a bow SnS team, you're bar setters.
