Review Yellow Brick Pizza - Columbus

Paul O
My goal in life is to eat at every pizza joint in Columbus at least once....lol This week I went to Yellow Brick on King and Neil. Service was great, food was even better. We started with their garlic bread which is a flat bread but yummy. The pizza we got was their Flying Pig which had sausage, ham, pepperoni, etc. It was hot and the crust was very good. Not too thick, not too thin. It was a very good pizza. They have a full service bar but on this Sunday, I had a mug of their Abita draft root beer. Different than your typical root beer. Not super sweet but very good nonetheless. Flavor was unique. They also feature deep dish Chicago style pizza also. However, it takes 40 minutes or so to bake and I was starving! Will definitely go back to give that pizza a try some other time. Overall, very good pizza joint.

I have eaten here twice in the past three days. I can confidently say that the pizza at Yellow Brick has changed my life. I have had severe food allergies for my entire life. I did not eat pizza (from a restaurant/establishment) until I was in high school because of the high risk of cross-contamination. Fast forward many, many years, I found places that had dairy-free cheese alternatives, but many were nut-based, so I was out of luck *cue the violins*. I went to YBP for the first time this past Saturday and saw that they had vegan cheese (!), so I ordered a pizza with mushrooms, sausage, and olives. I had no expectations, not because of YBP, but because it is hard to find good vegan cheese pizza in general, and I had had my hopes dashed from establishments before. I am not exaggerating; I had an awakening experience with my first bite. I thought, "Uh, is this supposed to taste this good???" I looked to my boyfriend, angry that he had been keeping the secret that is good pizza from me. Though logically knowing I could order another pie should I desire, I savored every bite of that divine slice. I will likely ask management kindly what the cost of rent is so I can plan to become a permanent resident and eat all of my meals there.

We have been to Yellow Brick Pizza many times over the last 4 years. The pizza is always amazing and the wings are the bomb. I’m not a “wing fan” and I love Yellow Brick’s wings. I also love their ranch dressing (on the wings and salads). Our daughter loves the calzone and the Tater Tot Nachos. We drive from Hilliard to their Olde Towne East location. On 4/19 we ordered carry out and it was still delicious after the 20+ minute car ride home.

exceptional pizza. Like very very very good. Good vibes. Good beer selection. Friendly staff. Had a sampling of 4 different pizzas and each was perfect. 100% recommended.

Nice options for pizza and beer, I like the crust and their signature pizzas are unique and good. Cool atmosphere and nice location, but few parking options.

The pizza was good but not amazing like I had hoped in pictures. I got the Chicago deep dish and the sauce was really runny all over and was kinda tangy. It’s definitely worth a try if you’re into pizza but I wasn’t blown away by the deep dish. The people I was with had the other pizza with meatballs on it and it was delicious. Next time I think I will try the thinner crust. Staff was very friendly though and they did the best to accommodate a large group with multiple pizza orders!

Because of what’s going on right now, we had to order carry out. The process was very efficient, although we had to call a couple of times to get through. It was totally worth it. I’m from closer to the east coast and this was my favorite pizza I’ve had in the 20 years I’ve lived in C-bus. Relatively thin crust, but with texture. Perfect amount of toppings. Loved it!

I've eaten at both locations and always loved the food and brews. The pizza is amazing with the best crust I've ever had. Just the right texture, taste, and crispness. It's consistently good too. I gave the deep dish a try, and it's amazing as well. Not too doughy nor too mealy. Others try and fail to do deep dish, and this is a home run. The prices are a bit high, but in the context of quality and how filling it is, it's not far from being a value. Sure Donatos may be 1/2 to 2/3 the cost, but it's not 1/10 as good, and you'll eat twice as much. Likewise the eclectic beer selection can seem pricey, but it's a curated selection of global craft beer. Throw in half off drafts during happy hour, and the beer prices are a positive. Anyway, do yourself a favor and stop by.

I always enjoy yellow brick. The pizza is fantastic, the best crust I've ever had. We tried the deep dish for the first time, needless to say we will be eating deep dish going forward. It does take longer to cook (45 minutes), but it is well worth it. Also my first time at the King Ave location. I liked it a lot, great space. Highly recommend!
