7 months later and I am revising my review from 1 to 5 stars. Buckeye Slice is back....thank God! All previous problems have been resolved and there is a well received, renewed sense & passion for this pizza shop. Mark, Rush, Brandon.....Well done lads. Glad to have you back!

If you like NY style pizza this is the place to go. Definitely the best pizza in Columbus. The crust has just enough crispiness but not so much to where it is dry.

Having grown up in eastern Pa., I've spent the past 15 years trying to find a pizza in Ohio that came even remotely close to the authentic NY style pizza I've enjoyed so much back home. I was passing by this place and on a whim decided to go in and just look at it (yes, you can usually tell by looking). The owner gladly not only showed me a slice, but offered me a free slice to try for myself. I was sooooo excited that I finally found it! The cheese, the crust, almost exactly as I remember it. It's the real deal and you won't be disappointed! No square pizza slices or soupy deep dish here! Just great NY cheese and crust - slices!

Definitely the best legitimate New York style pizza place in town. Locally owned and operated, Buckeye Slice is my favorite to get a real taste of New York, and honestly is the best pizza in town. Fresh, crisp out of the oven taste, you owe it to yourself if you haven't tried it!

I have gone here since I was about 5 years old when it was called "flying pizza" and stopped going when I was 14. I am almost 20 now and was in the area so I decided to stop by and see if it was still the greatest pizza I have ever tasted. Came in and ordered, sat down and took a bite out of slice of cheese pizza. It is still the same fantastic pizza I remember it being!!! This place will forever be my favorite spot to grab a slice!

I've been coming here for years and appreciate the consistency of the delicious New York-style pizza they serve. Seeing as I grew up in New York and I'm frequently there on business. I can tell you it's the real deal. Check it out, you will be pleased.

Love this place! Deserves more than 5 stars. The pizza, calzones, and garlic knots are to die for, they take me back home to NY. Management is awesome, takes time to tend to his guest and make sure they are satisfied as well as getting to know them. Food here is addicting, I keep coming back!

This is my favorite pizza in Columbus. It's a hidden gem. The crust is thin and has some crunch and the right amount of chew. The sauce is not too sweet, not too tangy. There is just the right amount of cheese. Stop in for a slice and you won't regret it.

Great little pizza shop! Great NY style pie, great crust! Was the former "Flying Pizza" shop, same recipe! Young man that owns is very nice and is working hard to build the business (was an employee of the former owner). I was referred by a co-worker, and tried it out with my family. They LOVE IT ! Kids are always asking to go back...I guess we will...tonight!
