Order ahead if getting takeaway, wait times can be long. Food was great, spicy where it should be. Tofu was crispy as expected. A good reuse of the old blocks bagels space.

I eat here regularly (at least once every two weeks) and I have never been disappointed. I usually get the spring rolls, and a general tso chicken or hot pepper chicken with fried rice. I like just a little heat with my meal and this does that very well while preserving great tase and obvious fresh quality. Very friendly service, contactless pick up, and overall a pleasant experience. The area surrounding the restaurant may look sketchy, but this is a real diamond in the rough.

I like this place a lot. Stopped in on a whim one afternoon and I keep coming back. The staff is always friendly and the portions are large. I've never left hungry, and I've never had an order that I didn't enjoy. The staff has also been great about making adjustments or substitutions to a menu item. If you're on this side of town I recommend stopping in and trying Z's.

This was the first time I've eaten here. The service was quick and friendly. I got an unexpectedly large bowl of bone broth soup. It came with a fun platter of condiments, including fresh herbs. Six of us ate there together, and we all enjoyed our meals. Prices were reasonable for an Asian restaurant.

The quality of the food was very good, having the traditional American Chinese cuisine. In addition they also carry Thai dishes including Summer Rolls. This is where i had issues, when asking for items off the Thai menu, most were no longer offered like Thai Tea or coconut curry dishes. They did have a great Miso Soup, the Summer Rolls and their peanut sauce tasted great but the rolls were not packed tight and kept falling apart when eating. I felt like a cave man eating with both hands trying to keep them together. Ding a star for that. Worst part was the service then the atmosphere. When walking in, it had a huge empty area in the center with the original Blocks Bagels booth seating along the walls. There was no sign to direct you on how to get seated. O waited in line at the register for 5+ min to find out i can seat myself. I get the feeling they dont have many dine in guests. About the service, it took a good 15 -20min just to give my order. It seems like they only have one english speaker at the front register. When placing my order I had to repeat my self several times as well as pointing to the menu item. Once my food was ordered it came promptly. I could see quite a bit of staff in the kitchen area. This was nice due to my being so hungry by then. Another ding was the fact they did not follow up after serving the dishes. I had to refill my drinks myself by walking to the kitchen / counter. Another ding of a star for that. Also there was an irate (entitled / privileged) woman that was screaming because her deliveries were cold and how she wanted all her money back. She wanted apologies from everybody INCLUDING OTHER GUESTS! She started harassing guests at counter including throwing racial slurs and other vulgar insults. I know that was not the norm but i dont like going into crazy situations/ environments. So I liked the food, very tastey and alot of food for the low price.as long as it is traditional American Chinese cuisine your golden, and its highrt quality of ingredients and prep. Some "specialty" foods they need to have better prep skills. The worst point was the service, expect to have long delay. I think this place does well as a carryout. If you want to try something new, give them a shot knowing what to expect. Its yummy & plenty of leftovers and quality reinforced plastic microwave safe containers.
