Z's Asian Bistro

This is the best Asian food in Columbus, hands down. Prices are great for the quality you receive. I just had to go in 9 minutes before close and i was greeted in a friendly manner, food came out steaming hot and in under 10 minutes. The food is always superb and fresh. Great customer service in person and over the phone. No complaints!

I eat here regularly (at least once every two weeks) and I have never been disappointed. I usually get the spring rolls, and a general tso chicken or hot pepper chicken with fried rice. I like just a little heat with my meal and this does that very well while preserving great tase and obvious fresh quality. Very friendly service, contactless pick up, and overall a pleasant experience. The area surrounding the restaurant may look sketchy, but this is a real diamond in the rough.

We order for the 1st time and I have to say we have had just about ever place in the Gahanna area and by far this is some of the best food! The hot and sour soup has more favor than any other. I had combo Yaki Udon, not a fan of non spicy food, I would get non spicy food ever single time! My husband had the Teriyaki chicken and shrimp, he is soooo picky about the meat, stringy chicken or tough beef this was so NOT! Tender favorful perfectly spiced.

I placed my order at the counter, stepped away briefly to use the facilities, and my to-go order was ready by the time I returned. Quite impressive! Z's Asian Bistro anchors a corner on a small strip mall on Broad Street in a neighborhood which could really use more Chinese/American dining options. I went with a simple dish - classic Lo Mein with Chicken. Silver dollar sized medallions of succulent all white meat chicken graced the tender but still chewy lo mein noodles. Flavor was amply provided by scallions in a traditional pan sauce, and the overall balance was just right. Perfect. Staff was friendly and helpful, portions were generous, price was reasonable, and the dish was still piping hot when I arrived at my home. Nothing not to like about this meal experience - five stars.

This is a really nice place. I ordered the Shrimp Fried rice and WonTon soup to go and it was delicious. The prices were anywhere from .50 to a 1.00 higher than other restuarants serving some of the same items. I will be going back and taking a few people with me. It was very clean, the service was good and quick.

I like this place a lot. Stopped in on a whim one afternoon and I keep coming back. The staff is always friendly and the portions are large. I've never left hungry, and I've never had an order that I didn't enjoy. The staff has also been great about making adjustments or substitutions to a menu item. If you're on this side of town I recommend stopping in and trying Z's.
