The staff was great even though it was closing time they still took the time to cook my food to order. I was so impressed with the customer service that if there was something wrong I would have let it pass. We had perch, liver and onions, cabbage, greens and rice. Thank you to the 3 ladies who served my wife & myself this evening, keep doing what you are doing, it doesn't go unnoticed! We will return ....

This was the first time I have been here and everything was excellent. I have read amazing reviews about this place so I decided I would try it to kill some time while my husband was at a doctor's appointment. The two ladies that were behind the counter were very helpful on selections. I ended up getting the smothered pork chops. AMAZING!! They were falling off the bone. I was actually going to get it to go but decided to eat in and I was actually able to eat the pork chops with plastic ware because they were so tender. If I lived closer I would probably be there every day. I would recommend this place to anyone. This is saying a lot from me I don't ever post reviews normally for restaurants. Also wanted to add that my husband after seeing he wasn't hungry ended up eating the rest of my dinner.

Had the smothered pork chops, collard greens, & sweet potato. My husband had baked sriracha chicken, cabbage & sweet potatoes. Ordered banana pudding. Was told it was "made from scratch." NOT! I'm very disappointed. The customer service with the initial worker was very nonchalant. I felt I was bothering her with my questions regarding the food.

I read the reviews , they were helpful and agree with them wholeheartedly: This place is a gem and will be new place on my list for real food!!! Friends and I enjoyed!!! The catfish and all the sides were delicious- very flavorful!!! The catfish portions were very generous!!! I will spread the word!!!
