AMAZING!!! We are traveling from Chicago and this place was easy to find right off the main intersection at Polaris and I-71. Perfect place for family to eat if you are hungry and enjoy authentic atmosphere.

We have been coming to the El for about 18 years. It’s our go too for Mexican. They have always treated us like family. The margaritas and the food are wonderful and very fairly priced. Right now you will see some new faces helping out as they are waiting for their fearless leader to heal and get back on his feet. So have patience when you go in and know that these are friends and family right now helping out and trying to keep this place moving along. Before you take the time to rip a place apart with a bad review just think that maybe there is back story and a struggle happening.

Im not a Columbus native and I tend to think most Mexican restaurants around campus are complete trash. I will gladly drive the 20 minutes to this place as I have literally tried every single Mexican restaurant in a 10 mile radius from campus.

Food was authentic and amazing with plenty of options, chips and salsa was welcomed but not needed as the food was quickly served. Very well priced and Good flan!

Super friendly owners and staff make you feel welcome every visit. Delicious food, prepared to order, fast and hot. Very reasonable prices and they always mail you a BOGO coupon. They have bar in the back great for happy hour. Large covered outside patio with about a dozen 4 top tables.

Very friendly service and tasty food! We went on Father's day and we'd never been here before since we're from out of town. We sat ourselves as per their sign and were greeted shortly after with a smile along with chips and salsa. Decor was a bit dated and the carpet was a but stained, but the food was very good. Restaraunt was not too busy and we had a great hot meal to enjoy while celebrating my husband on Father's day.
