Stopped on a road trip and had a fabulous meal. The counter staff were friendly and happy to make recommendations, the sampler platter was the perfect choice. We went upstairs to the bourbon bar, had their seasonal slushy and were welcomed by Chad the owner. A perfect experience and made to feel incredibly welcomed. The food is amazing, the staff knowledgeable and friendly. You won't be disappointed you stopped for a meal.

definitely stop in! some of the best BBQ I've tried, we really enjoyed the ribs and pulled pork. coleslaw was amazing too! it's got some kick! I enjoyed all the sauces as well! will have to go back to try the brisket. fair prices, and quick service!

The food is delicious!! We started with the Texas Trinity sandwich, Brisket sliders and Turkey sliders. Absolutely delicious! Street corn as a side and ended with the Banana pudding. Amazing! Highly recommend! Price point is good as well as food choices. Service was excellent!

One of our new favorites! Friendly staff greeting you when you enter. Good little beer selection. Typical smokehouse menu options. 4 sauces set out on the table for you to use as you wish which I really enjoyed the freedom of that because I love to mix sauces and I love a lot of it 😊 I believe they are all homemade. The patio is such a nice little vibe and very clean if you want to sit outside and enjoy the weather! I got the Mac and cheese with pork and I was very happy about the portion of pork especially for the price. Often times you either get a tiny portion of meat for a similar price or you pay a lot more the a similar amount. Even with a good quantity it did not lack in quality so there is not any need to compromise! Just the way paying customers like! We will be back!

Excellent brisket, beans and mac-n-cheese, if everything else is as good then it's all top-notch. The menu is rather limited, however, this is a trend at newer restaurants - do a few things, but do them well - so get ready for some great BBQ!

Amazing food with an amazing atmosphere and service. Walk in and you order your food and pay right then and there. You can choose your own seat and you get served within ~10 mins.

The brisket is delicious and moist. The pulled pork was good. It was previously pulled and in juice. The mac and cheese was a bit mushy for my taste and my 3 year olds. The tast of the street corn was so off that i could not eat it. There are no changing tables in the restroom. The atmosphere was nice in this 80 seat old farm house that was converted to a restaurant. The decor was classic black and white Texas farm house. I will definitely be back to try more of their meats. I will just leave the sides off.

Delicious BBQ. Some of the best we've ever had. The meats don't need sauce, but their original and spicy are very good and have a nice pepper flavor.
It is a counter serve joint with ample indoor and outdoor seating, staff was very friendly and fast. Would definitely recommend.

I have been to a lot of BBQ places and being from Lexington NC, I’ve had my fair my share of it. I would give this place a 3.5 but rounded up because it’s closer to a 4 then 3. The food was good but it’s just not what was expected. It is set up awkwardly for when you walk in and where all of the tables are located. When we were there eating there was at least 3 families that waited for a few minutes and then left due to slow service.
The food....
I tried all the sauces and was not a fan of any of them. I know they are a smoke house and it’s about the smoked meat, but a good sauce will always bring a meal together. I had the pulled rib sandwich and for $8 the portion was fantastic we got the corn and Mac n cheese for a side... let’s just say the Mac n cheese was not up to par. The cheese was grainy and just overly smoked. I bet if you got a fresh batch it would be great but this was not. The corn was fantastic though but still the overall price of 2 regular sides and a sandwich was $20 and that didn’t include a drink!!!Either the sides should have been bigger or the prices should have been lower in the 12-15 range.
I will go back to give this place another shot, but not sure if it will be a regular spot.

So the food and the atmosphere are great. Especially the new bourbon bar upstairs. The staff are so nice! A few things that I would change/fix.
Please use real cutlery and good napkins. Plastic forks/knives and the very cheap napkins are no bueno. Put the different BBQ sauces at each table upstairs. Lastly, the outdoor space downstairs could use some TLC.
Some of this may be a little picky, but that is the difference between good and great in my opinion.

Go for the Baby backs and moist brisket, stay for the atmosphere and sweet tea.
Legacy Smokehouse is one of the best if not the best BBQ places in town. The staff are friendly and courteous, the atmosphere is great, the food is top notch. Also if you go when they are selling wings, buy as many as you can.

The refined tight menu allows for quick, quality and consistent food. This is how you run a restaurant. Don't try to please everyone on earth by adding a million things to the menu. Just do what you do and do it well.
