This lady can cook, ok! Location was a little confusing but the service, food, and atmosphere def made up for it. The seafood mac was bomb. Greens didn't even need hot sauce and i literally put hot sauce on everything, so this is sayin a lot. Wings were cooked perfect, not those big jumbo wings a lot of places have.. and the spicy carolina sauce is off the chain. Will be back again!! Wow! 😭

My husband and I went here for a day date - The food, service, and atmosphere were great! We had the shrimp & grits and the fish & grits and both dishes were very good. We also got a cup hookah that we were able to take home with us for $25. We were there from about 2-4pm and the vibe was pretty chill. They have a jukebox and we were able to play the music we like which created a good vibe. The bartender/waitress and the owners were very polite, helpful, attentive, and had a great sense of humor. We will definitely visit again.

Recently visited Beyond the brix on a Saturday around 5pm. They were still serving brunch which was a delight had the grits and fish. The food was delicious seasoned well. The drinks were nice and strong. The establishment was very clean. They didn’t have music playing which was okay but I did learn that they offer a comedy show on Tuesday evenings. The owner was friendly as well Shante’ I believe that’s her name. She did come talk to us and gave us some history on her establishment. I definitely will return in the future to catch the evening vibe. I do recommend visiting this establishment.

This place dope af. Great music by the DJ, the waitresses are beautiful and attentive. The overall ambiance of the spot was great. The French Toast was absolutely delicious and melted in my mouth. The scrambled eggs actually reminded me of my grandmas which was cool and confusing all at the same time. My girl got the bottomless mimosas and I'm pretty sure she enjoyed them because she's absolutely plastered right now.

The Seafood Mac was delicious. Parking was tight, but we were able to luck out. I would suggest going at a non-busy time. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The music was a bit loud but the atmosphere was relaxed and very welcoming. They stuck to the menu. The picture of the Buns and Brew menu is outdated at this time (3/5/22).

Nice black owned restaurant. I came with a friend for Sunday brunch. The chicken and waffles was good. I liked the chicken more than the waffle. The bottomless mimosa was great but like most bottomless mimosas I couldn't taste much alcohol. Service was unfortunately slow for us but it seemed others didn't have that problem. The vibe was cool though. I'm happy I finally tried it.
