Jimmy V's Grill & Pub Grandview

Stopped for lunch with a colleague and found a pleasant hidden gem. The entire menu is a Greek inspired mix of cool dishes. We started with amazing perogies. I had the Sausage Melt from house made sausage and my colleague had the chicken panini. I highly recommend stopping for a Gyro which I will get next time.

LOVE this place! The service is awesome (they'll actually remember your face and order tendencies!), The food is exceptional and fresh, the atmosphere is relaxed, warm and inviting, and the prices are great to boot. My dad and I constantly go in there to grab lunch on the weekdays. We always split the Mediterranean platter (with an extra order of warm pita bread!) and Dad grabs a beer. They have a great selection of beers!

My family had to travel 4 hours from my home to Columbus for medical reasons. We did this about once a week. While there, I stopp at Jimmy's and ordered their Wings. Found out it was made with their home made buffalo sause. I made it a point that everytime we made this trip, I would order 3 orders to take home with me. The perfect wing with meat, heat and flavor. Will always go there for wings. Jimmy's has ruined all other wing places for me. lol. Great job!!!

The food is delicious. Usually not a fan of lamb but had the traditional gyro and it was amazing. Portion sizes are worth the price! The chips are a great sub as long as you have a little salt. The atmosphere is pretty laid back, so no complaints there. I wish we could have been on the beautiful patio. It was mid day and there were plenty of shaded areas to sit at. It would be great to have a drink there. We did sit in the cigar room. It wasn't as smoky as I thought it would have been. Actually no smoke but once when a customer lit up as they walked out. Great place for a group setting. Only concern is the parking, not a lot of spots to park at. Also adjacent to a towaway lot as well so don't park on the gravel! If you know this area, you know parking is limited for most places.

Pretty solid experience, smaller space but has 8 or 9 very nice booths, 15 or so bar stools, and a patio. 5 TVs for all that action, great for sports viewing. Doesn't seem like the place to be overcrowded, but a nice intimate crowd generally welcoming of polite passers by and new locals! Food was far better than bar quality. Absolutely amazing mozzarella sticks with Buffalo sauce infused. Beer selection is small but decent, top shelf liquors of a decent variety, and the normal domestics and imports in bottle or can. Highly recommend.

Jimmy V’s has been a go to for us for over a decade. If you want a great sandwich and drink for lunch or after work, you can’t beat them. Always so friendly. Best Paninis in Columbus. And look at those handmade cheese and bacon stuffed tots!! Can’t believe it took us this long to try them!! Worth going just for them.
